So any amount up to 50kg is a felony punishable by up to 5 yrs in prison and a 750-7500 dollar fine?
That's almost an incentive to grow MORE then you normally would. If it's the same felony whether you're growing 2 pounds or 100, why not grow 100? Course, a reasonable judge would see that the first one could be a personal grow, and the second means dude is trying to become a millionaire in a few years...
Check out the mandatory minimum sentences for growing within 1000 ft of a school or park. That's 3 football fields. If you're in a densely populated area, chances are you're within 1000 feet of a school or park...
Overgrowa: I think May's a good time to get your outdoors started, least that's what I gather from other posts. The weather seems pretty solid so far...

Got a bunch of Flo and NYCD cuts in the humidome, no heat pad. I'm trying out the Oasis rootcubes again. I'm chalking up my first failed attempt with the rootcubes to grower error.
Got a lone NYCD clone in the veg tub under flouros. I'm using the neoprene collars (the ones used in Ez Cloners) and extra tape to make my tub as lightproof as possible. Also threw in some Dutchmaster Zone in the res. Hopefully this means I wont get the clear snot again. If I do, I'll put the DWC on hiatus; I have a bunch of 3 gallon pots and I'll just do organic soil. There's more than one way to grow...

Hey everybody, it's good to see a Midwest growers up on here. Currently in Wisconsin and going to be in Iowa next year, nothing quite like the Midwest.
While superficially Iowa is a progressive state, there are huge areas of the state which are hyper-sensitive christian fanatics. So we're often faced with a sort of legal duality here, with some laws appeasing the conservatives, and some appeasing the liberals. The courts decided on gay marriage, but from my experience in this state, very few common citizens actually so much as thought about gay marriage before the court did this, and most people here still use "gay" as a swear word.
I wish I knew more of the medical community, I'd prefer my beauties go to people who are worthy of them, and med patients are a much better crowd than the strip club scene, which seems to be 99% of where the schwagg comes from. I sometimes wonder why the cops don't just camp the strip clubs. Then again, maybe they have and this is why there's so little of it right now. I'm not really in a great part of the state either way. Most of the med patients probably stay near the major medical centers and I'm not there

menards, lowes, homedepot, dollar trees, big lots, walmart, kmart etc...them is my favorite hydro stores.....the only things i get from B&G's are nutes,lites, lite movers,mylars and a net cup or 2...hope this helps.

Sorry not to have been around. Not much new is going on. Still growing my own.
I've been working with these Sequoia seeds but I can't get one to germinate.
I ended my outdoor tray of 60. Glad to be rid of it.
Just cut 2 AI from Nirvana. No smoke report yet. Have 2 more ready to come down. 5 WW, also Nirvana, in flower. 1 Mast Kush which will be a long term resident though it has filled out since the last take notice. Finally, 6 WW, including one form the tray in the veg area.
15 plants in total ranging from fully flowered to seedlings.

Fairly new to site. I am somewhere between kansas and illinois and iowa ans arkansas. LOL, Started my first grow last week with some bagseed to get the feel of everything and get my room dailed in. Growing a scrog dwc sized at 2.5'x2.5' under 400w. Things going well so far. Glad to see all the people from the area. I will be ordering seeds in about three weeks. Anything or where I need to know? I think I got my strains picked, still a little up in the air on a couple. I know for sure NL is in there for that ole school remembering!

will be chopping this down tonite...this is one of my creations i call "White Domina" it's Blk Domina x Wht Russian.... this is a lil over 70 days...looking foward to this smoke...guesstimation on the yield is bout 3.5 to 4 maybe a lil more...gots 3 different growers growing it and they love it...1 guy even tried to give me a bud of my own strain but i declined it... I told him that i will wait for mine to smoke...the reason is that it smelled a lil green, he didnt even give it a chance to cure...might have someone do a smoke report on it once i cure my budz. Here are some pix....hope this helps.

Koopa: In IL there's a requirement that the cultivation/possession take place on the 'public way' within 1000' of a school or park in order for enhanced sentencing to take place. So if you're inside your home but across the street from a park, you're ok, in IL at least.
PC: What up bro! Good to see you still popping in now and again. Yeah, I second that: Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards, Walmart and Petsmart for most of your growing needs. Only if you cant find it at those places should you be going to the hydro store, or a hydro website...
Chewwy: Your plants look happy and the strains sound awesome! Are you doing organic soil? Sog?
Lemonskunk: Those nugs look tight and well-manicured, mmm mm! What strain btw? Smoke report if you're able?
Facelift: So no outdoor this year? Too much trouble? I'd like some smoke reports on the Nirvana stuff when you can; ive heard Nirvana stuff can be surprisingly good....
Asil: Seedbay and seedboutique are good, and purchasing there will help support this site, but have a safe address to send them to! And a 4 or 6 pack from Nirvana is cost-effective and will produce a few gems, or so ive heard. Once you get a grow going and make friends on this site, it's not unheard of for members to send you seeds or even cuts...

This is like 10% of the harvest from the big NYCD tub, the one I put phosphoload in.
Most of the buds are stringy and not really filled out.
Part of that is because I have these under 400's, so light penetration is not great. The other reason is the phosphoload; it caused the plants to bud out so much that the thickness of the foliage really choked off a lot of light to lower buds. That's partly why I'm harvesting in stages: to let lower buds fill out and mature. Also, my dryer box can only hold so much bud at one time.
