Just got back from the weed capital, had a great time
and highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been yet.
Everything we bought was excellent.
Being the landrace fan I am, I didn't buy much
dutch stuff, but from what I tried from my mates
the hawaiian haze from abraxas was the tastiest.
Ok on with the report.
1. Jamaican - Bluebird.
First thing I thought when I opened the bag was wow, vanilla!
Very strong vanilla smell and slightly cocoa.
Very dark green compressed buds.
When crumbled it was quite oily rather than sticky.
smoke tasted excellent, smooth, cool, vanilla.
The high was nice relaxed clear sativa,
This is the stuff I could just smoke everyday, so easy going.
2. Thai - Bluebird.
This is like the brickweed we get in the u.k but better
quality. smells quite foody and herbal, almost like soy sauce?
Like the jamaican it was slightly oily, the colour was a lighter green.
Smoke slightly weaker and not as pronounced rich flavour, but very nice nonetheless.
3. Purple Haze - Barraka.
Great value for money, I cant remember how much but I got a fat bag for a good price.
This one was grown in Holland, outdoors.
Purple buds with a very perfumey scent that
came through nice in the smooth smoke.
High seemed mostly indica, clear and relaxed.
4. King Hassan - Kadinsky's.
Awesome blonde Morroccan hash with an earthy, minty smell and flavour.
Bubbled up when touched with a flame.
High is very nice.
5. Lebanese - Bluebird.
Another light hash, very nice but didn't sem to match the king hassan, not as strong smelling and didnt bubble.
6. Zero Zero - Abraxas.
Another Morroccan hash, darker and stickier than the king hassan.
Smell and taste earthy and fruity with a strong uplifting high.
7. Nepal Cream - Abraxas.
Now were getting serious, I recall this being something like double the price of their regular nepal hash.
Powerful fruity smell and taste.
Strong uplifting and mind expeanding high
that lasts a long time.
This is the stuff!
8. Wild Malani Cream - Greenhouse.
Woooeee now this is different, the smell is like nothing else,
ultra fruity minty spice. Powerful taste.
This stuff looks drier and seems more spongey than the Nepal Cream but it is no less in quality, very soft handrubbed charas.
The high is very uplifting and mind expanding, pure excellence.
The price though = 18 euro per gram!
Same price as icolator hash but in my opinion far better.
Overall I enjoyed all the smokes very much, but the top Nepalese hashes take the prize for ultimate high.
I reccomend everyone who goes to Amsterdam to seek them out.
BTW all the coffeeshops we visited were great but the
ones with the friendliest staff were abraxas and barraka.
Peace!
