Day 44 of White Skunk (a 40-50 day strain).

What do you think? I'm not sure if they're clear or cloudy, but I definitely don't see any amber. Any guesses for how much longer they will need to get to 50/50 cloudy/amber?

Yea dude its not all about the trichomes, calyx density, general thickness of the bu itself and ripeness, smells should help you get the right time to chop dialed in. It helps to grow the strain out prior multiple times, Soma says wait untill the plant is supposed to be finished (60 days or whatever it takes), then wait another week after that it should be ready

Ya know its funny, I am growing this BC and have most of the lower buds on one of the plants almost all red, with the upperrs showing 25%, only 5 weeks in though. I was hoping to get a little longer out of them... Started flushing none the less, grown from seed so I feel the one that is showing so much red eepecially is almost ready.

Not ready...I don't pack up the picnic until the clouds come in.

I have a strain that takes forever (75-80 days) to finish...and never get any amber tri's at all on it. It was one of the 2 bagseeds strains we have....and it's FIRE!

I usually like to wait until I see at leat a few starting to go amber before I pick but then again I like mine to help me get to sleep and relive pain.

Thanks for the tips so far guys. I think maybe I didn't make it completely clear what I'm asking. I'm wondering what color the trichs are (I'm not sure if they're cloudy or clear). Here are some better pics if that helps. :D
