I have 24 air cooled hoods, and am using 2 12" fans to cool them. Problem is I have a leak somewhere because when I turn on the fans, my CO2 starts dropping very quickly and I can also feel the negative pressure on the door. I was thinking of turning off the lights, using some smoke and trying to see where it goes.
I have taped every joint on the hoods, the glass, the take offs on the large intake/exhaust etc. The only possibility is something wasnt taped good enough
I think the issue is when I adjust the hoods, I may beloosening the seal on the duct between the hoods. I do have slack between hoods, not a ton though. Also nobody wanted to spring for hose clamps. Instead we used large zip ties. I feel they arent getting tight enough.
