one vote for life...

Lucretia does come from a fine family...

She is a mutant on the other hand...but I bet she would be a huge plant.

Still stoned... lol Ya'll smoke one wit me.

Sitting here thinking about running some electric from the fuse box to the grow area. Weezard, I got lots of empty spots, but if I run the wire outside the walls what should I put them in? PVC pipe? I've got tons and tons of empty breaker spots I could be using. Could run some 240 up there for my lights. Would that be a big saving on electric bill?

What ya'll think?

Every state has a different electrical code.
In Ohio, You'd have to use ridgid metal conduit with compression fittings.
In Hawaii PVC is jus fine even for buried cable. all the rest of Hawaii is half-assed, tacked up, Romex.

I expect that Tennesse would be kinda tight assed.
Look at the way most of your nieghbors do it and do yours a little mo' betta.
If it might be getting banged into , I'd use conduit with romex in it.

play safe,
Weeze

I ain't calling no inspector to look at my work. LOL

Just don't want to tear out any walls to wire up a few more circuits for safety.

Hey LolaGal is thursday the last good day for planting this month? I hope you can get back to me extremely soon if it is. Thnx man for spreading the knowledge

Isn't the moon in Libra? If so I'm under the impression that a good time to plant flowers is when the moon is in Libra. Have I been misguided?

I must've been stoned, I thought I said it was a great day to plant. Moon in Scorpio 2nd quarter tonite and tomorrow. Big Moon Mojo goin on.

 Get Your Moon Groove On Ya'll

Our references must differ. I have a calendar that says moon in Libra 7th & 8th. Moon in Scorpio 9th,10th,&11th. One other thing, it says the moon is full on the 9th @ 12:01a.m. EDT. I'm in the states, Texas of course, you? I'm referencing from a Blum's 2009 Gardening Calendar. I'm interested in comparing with you because I've seen references differ in the past. Wonder if I should get my info from somewhere else or what?

Big Tex: Throw that ole calendar in the trash! I use the tropical zodiac.. more accurate.

The 9th, 10, and 11th are BARREN! Fire signs... Your calendar probably uses the sidereal zodiac, which is off whack, like the Farmer's Almanac.

Been using Llewellyn's Moon Sign Book since 1980s, works like a charm! It's the accurate Tropical Zodiac they use. Makes a big difference, and is one reason why some people don't have good results using Farmer's Almanac and give up.

ISBN #: 978-0-7387-0720-4 Hope that helps.

Oh, my electrical experience is not great, but I can wire a plug or run some wire. A new circuit is about the extent of my limits. I don't like working with hot wire.

OOh- dont you think it would be cool to have a side by side comparison for a few turns? Just to see the variation from one to another?
please :)

Oh.....ok. Never heard of that book.
What's this ISBN#? I don't understand.
I was asking Weezard about his electrical experience. Maybe he'll see it.
You show Sagittarius for 9,10,11?

L

LolaGal

Duh-oh. I thought you meant me.

Weezard is one of them wiring genius types. He knows all.

ISBN is a number you can use to identify a book in library or when ordering it at a bookstore.

I think it stands for International Serial Book Number or something like that.

Dang $2 ? You sure it is 2009 edition? What a bargain.. $8 for mine last january

Hi Trichy! Didn't see your post, sometimes they don't all load for some reason. What Up?

I am too lazy to do a sidereal zodiac vs. tropical comparison for ya'll... LOL. I know the Farmer's Almanac/sidereal doesn't work...too lazy to prove anything... :D

So stoned and sleepy.... Think I'll get up about 6 am and go planting. See Ya'll later! Thanks for visiting.

I got confused/stoned not sure the difference. I thought there was an opposing earth gardening chart.
lol

Ok, just bought the book. It looks like great info-thanks again

B

BigTex

Ok I ordered the Llewellyn moon book but I was just lookin at their other books and they have one,"Is your pet psychic?". I sure hope they don't produce that book too. I'd have a hard time taking advise from something made by folks who think there are psychic pets running around the place. Maybe I should see if my dog knows anything about this planting date thing:D

$2.25 for '09 and $10 something for '10. Guess they consider it to be old already.
