If you kill that tree...plant 50 more somewhere else. Everyone should plant trees. I've had that problem before...shade can be a m-fker.
The bad karma is killing a tree for such a selfish reason. It is a lot easier to find another place to grow and let the trees live.
............................
I can tell neither one of ya'll have any experience cutting trees down. It is dangerous and can kill you or others.
OK you are DEA in a chopper flying along looking for weed in a sea of green trees when you spot a dead tree. The eye is drawn to the dead tree since it is not like all the others. Human nature. That's how they spot the plot....
Why not plant on the edge of a forest with south and west light coming in on the plants.
After you kill it they will come and "thin" the forest as you say for sure.
They will find your patch or a tree will strike on your plants while they will be "thinning" the forest. How is that for karma ?
I see you already tried killing it. I just hope the tree will survive human stupidity....
Killing a healthy tree for couple of weeds is plain stupid...sorry...
God put all of this(nature) here for us to use. Go read the book of Genesis.
Selfish....Dude, God put all of this(nature) here for us to use. Go read the book of Genesis. The forrest is here for us to work with. I feed my self, clothe my family, keep myself warm, and make a good living...If those are selfish acts,,,Then you, and everyone reading this selfish..Simply because I drop a fiew select trees to get some more light down to the shady portions of the patch doesent mean im some sort of forrest rapist..In fact,,Im one of the guys that picks up all the beer bottles and trash I see on the sides of the forrest roads...
Its taken me 0ver 5years to find the spots that im currently using. These places are like gold to me. Guerilla patches (in my climate) that can yield 50+Lbs are fiew and far between. Your attitude that a good guerilla patch is adime adozen, shows that you have no idea what yer talking about..
.
Spare me with comments like oh I do so much for environment. It reminds me of those racist guys who go on like this : I don't hate them, I have friends among them but you know they are filthy.....
Not sure I understand your comment if you are insinuating that Hunters and Trappers and Fisherman don’t put more money into the environment than all others combined I suggest you do some research.
Guess what these same guys cut down trees for a better shot at a deer and cut down saplings to use as stakes to hold their traps or cut a whole patch of trees down so they can put their boat in the water. So I guess with your logic all these people are filthy racists or am I not following correctly.
PEACE
I am no tree huger by any means....lol I believe in Karma though...The problem I see is this: If a patch like this with evidence of intentionally killed trees, gets busted/discovered we all get an even worse rap than we already have. That's a big issue in some places and it's one getting the attention of the main stream media. I have seen several negative stories involving habitat destruction and outdoor grows.
IHMO if it's not your tree it's wrong to kill it. If you're on someone else's land you should respect it accordingly. It's property destruction and it's not cool.
