Dutch Passion Blueberry

Starting my Dutch Passion Blueberry grow log. These babies are 1 month old and doing well. One of the 4 is really really uniform,has perfect leaves,purple stalk and stems. The other one`s are normal color and have a little bit more vigor. They are in 2 gallon pots right now in fox farm ocean forest soil being fed fox farm grow big and a mild guano tea(8-3-1) They are sitting under a 400 watt metal halide light loving life. They will veg for another 2-3 weeks or until room opens up in the flowering room. Serious Bubblegum and White Rhino finishing up in there now. Stay tuned as I will keep this log updated.....Keep It Green.....Or in this case Blue! By the way,these are regular and not fem.

Is the D.P. version the same as that the dj short version? I think I heard it is different.

DP pretty much bought the genetics from them or are the only ones given permission to sell his genetics. Think I saw this on the DP website.

It's a branch of the same tree, I heard things didn't end well; so kinda stolen or to be accurate not returned as business went bad.

It is a branch from an area, can't wait to see some girls flower.

It is,but it is not at the same time. They got the genetics from DJ but as was stated I think something went bad. DP does have the blue family but all from DJ.
DP probably started crossing and selecting for what they thought was best. Who knows what will happen with these ones,we`ll see!

Nice hempluvr i got a nice DP blueberry female it has the purple stems and perfect leaves i havent smoked it yet because i crossed the plant with northern lights from sensi(it was an open pollenation outdoors) so unfortunately no smoke from it just a few hundred beans but i took a cutting just need to flower it out... Some seed sack's turned a bluey purple colour late in flowering so i know its definatly got a nice blue/purple colour and the smell is like skunky blueberries!!

Good luck with your grow ill be watching this one closely!!!

Thanks Benji,I am impatiently waiting to see what will happen with these. The really uniform one I am hoping is the female. I want to take cuttings and put some outside this month. See if I can get that really blueberry pheno.

The more beans in this world the better plus i want to inbreed this line i kept a cutting to flower out and try anyways so its a win/win situation..

We (Mr.M and I) have run DPBB and were pleased! I think anything in the Blue line are well worth running! Keep us posted, I love to look at the photos!

slowcheetah-thanks for dropping in. I will surely keep this updated as they grow. You said you ran it DPBB before,did you end up with a blueberry tasting/smelling pheno? How about hermi`s get a visit from herman?

Flowering a few right now....it's a very pretty plant, not my favorite smoke...but it would look nice as just a house plant. Done many, many runs of this strain...doesn't blow very hard for me.

Would be cool to breed though.

I remember there were a few hermies, but can't remember how many. That also happens with gear direct from Dj, but it's usually only a few. We have 20 or so new F13 and 2 were hermies. Males from the Blue line seem to so sex earlier and sometimes auto on a more frequent basis than some other lines, but you can find ones that will keep in the veg room. It's all about selection. I do remember the DP's smelling like berry KoolAid powder. Not necessarily Blueberry, but mixed berry. I personally prefer Dj's gear, but the Dp is nice also. Run a pack of Dj's Bluberry next to those and check it out. Good luck.
