Cloning for large grows.

I have done alot of research on the subject. A few grows inside, a few outside. Ive finally found a suitable outdoor spot that I can put 100+ to and am trying.

Problem number 1: 3 out of 4 mothers turned out to be daddikins.

Problem number 2: The mommykin turned out to be the hardest to clone. Which left me with 4 female clones, the mother, 3 dads, and around 30 littledads.

******Heres the real question****** For the people that do it big outside, what is your method of cloning. I have been using rockwool cubes, olivias cloning gel, and misting them everyday.

I read about the bubble cloner but that doesnt look like it could do the 200+ at one time like I want.

I already read about the light schedules of outside and am trying to recover from my mistakes, and now I am having problems just getting my clones rooted.

Next year I want a few female mothers large, and able to produce 100+ clones at one time. But I want to know YOUR method of getting the best successful roots.

rapid rooters, olivias gel, angled cut and scrape one side. no dome. mist once or twice daily. 33w fluoro tube 1ft above tray. ~2 weeks. 70 per tray. add trays for more.
top off reservoir tray as needed with 1 mL GH bloom/gal 1 mL GH micro/gal. ~6.5 pH

or........perlite bed with cloth wick. same everything else.

i use sterilite tubs with perlite. i dont use a wick, just 3-5 inches of perlite, drill a little drain hole in the bottom, and give it a squirt every other day. as long as you keep root zone temps at 75+, they will root. and please be sure you know the laws in your area. 100 in the us will get u a not-so-comfy spot in the federal pen...just spread em out. 10 to a spot. good luck

A homemade bubble cloner is the only real option, but you would need oodles of mother plants to get that many cuttings and Mr. Stinky has given some very good issues to consider.

I hope you have a large crew and lots of equipment. There is so much work involved in that size of grow.

Thanks alot you guys for your answers. Few things I am going to change is scraping one side of the stem, and another thing I need to do is figure out a way to apply heat.

And also thanks for the tips about the laws. But I was only kidding I would never grow ANY plants, let alone 100.

heating mats are cheap and easy to use...

i never really noticed a difference in scraping or not. u can, and i dont think it could hurt, but the heat is 95% of the battle. as long as you provide the heat, they will most likely root regardless of what little things you do.
