If I was a trimmer or an electrician, it should be part of my job to not even want to know! I WOULDN'T WANT TO KNOW THAT KIND OF INFO! Hypothetically, It's safer for the trimmer/electrician and the grower.10% more odds of getting busted tacked on for everyone bloke that knows. Just because one may be a stoner does not make one better than anyone else.

If you are a grower, should your main pusher man/woman even know? Why does he/she have to know? speculation will be there, sure, but to be so blunt and just come out with it? Why does he need that information..the product is there? It does not change anything about somebody else knowing except adding security risk for the fall guy. It gives that individual an unnecessary potential scapegoat. If you are the pusher, why do would you even want to know? If you guy is always on point, and the trust is there, what more do ya need?



Go with your gut, ya don't need ya next thread to be a busted thread.

No man if the guy needs professional help thats the best way to start a grow,start from the beginning which is the equipment.I just can't believe no other option exists or may exist later without the blindfold drama lol.I agree its a matter of respect as much as security not letting anyone in on your felonius escapades..but blindfolds lol I just cant get past it

if you were that kind of electrician you would come with good references and indeed it would be part of the job. i'm not saying that no one can ever trust a green guy/gal but unless i was really confident i probably would just find a different person in the end, or make sure nothing was there to see at all. no explanations as to why just i want this this this here and here and there.

Being an electrician I can tell you thats so true.If the homeowner has done his homework and is precise about what he wants,so long as it doesnt violate code I wouldnt ask a single question about individual loads.If someone told me they wanted a 30A subpanel mounted here coming from this panel with #10AWG I'd say Okly dokley.Just an example man it can be much more complex so long as you can explain what you need.Its only when they will be installing branch circuits for appliances and such that they would be more curious

I can really only see this being OK if you had an attached garage. Otherwise it would be too easy for him to get a feel of his surroundings if he's familiar with your area.

I'd pondered the same..but in the end it REALLY ISNT WORTH IT.

What type of HVAC work are you needing done anyways? Mini split?

If its not something you can teach yourself to do I'd suggest waiting until the op can be torn down.. have the work done.. then re setup. A huge pain I know..but from the looks of the gallery you dont want somebody in that house.

You said the dude grows? How do you really know? Did you meet him in the grow shop..or just on the street? I'd be sketched either way.

Well its done. He did the estimate. It cost 500 bucks to put a thermostat in the room, and run some larger duct from the a/c into both ends of the rooms. Im cooling my room with the house central air unit this way. As far as blindfolding goes... I asked him if he was okay with it and he said it was understandable. So then we got to talkin and he told me both places he works, and strains hes got etc.. Hes pretty into weed, he may even be on this site. He worked on a 14 light grow around here, and they are still going. So all in all, I didnt make him wear the glasses/blindfold. I know it could be the biggest mistake of my life, but i had a good first impression from him and the second time was the same way. I went with my gut, cuz i have a feeling this is gonna be my long needed HVAC guy! If it all works out good, I can put this guy to work all over the place. We will see.

I don't really advocate homicide, but you can't have any loose ends, in my opinion and experience.

Well in this game we either need electrical knowledge or a trusted electrician, I personally wouldn't let ANYBODY know what I'm doing and would try and have all my electrical needs sorted out before I had any plants in the Op. Glad it worked out for ya.

I'm not an HVAC guy, but this sounds like an EXTREMELY easy job to do myself. If I couldn't have figured it out just by looking at it, I'd have done what another member suggested doing and look it up. Google is your friend. If you can find out how to make a nuclear bomb on teh intrawebz, you sure as shit can find out how to hook up a thermostat and run some ductwork. Just my though.

well from the looks of the thread it appears he didn't properly weigh out the risks...

he made the thread basically with his decision already hoping to hear some support of his idea, but there wasn't much since it was a horrible idea and he still went with it.

i get what you mean about jinxing, but if anything posting all this info on IC mag is as close to "jinxing" yourself as it gets. hahah
