Dr D - there's a clone called 'the Dunk', supposed to be from Pukka Seeds G13 line,
maybe this is the G clone you have?,
i read a few months ago Big Buddah also used it in 1 of his newer lines,

been a couple of other crosses involving this clone: Jackie P + Jackie PSD, both made by m@rg

both look really good, got a few of the Jackie PSD in the fridge, big up the Uk all day, look at that list of strains on the first page^^, both clones and seedlines are killer

dunk is a nice smoke not to keen on the taste tho its floating around the midlands for the past ? years . shame some peeps wont share ive been after a cut now for 2 yrs

What about the Shaker/Five Times clone Cheesey, you had the chance to try this 1 before?,
it's impossible to find mate, been looking for it for a while, no luck so far tho, i'm beginning to think it's long gone, i'd give up everything in my stash to get it, it's that old school NL#5xHaze,
there's was an NL#5xHaze clone that used to do the rounds where i stay but this was way before i started growing, a mate had it passed to him when he was growing, but none of us knew what we were doing so the grow went t over a big time, he was actually growing using a car park spot light lol, the thing used to get red hot, obviously not meant for enclosed spaces like that, must of been 1000w or so in a 6 foot cupboard,
that NL#5xHaze was special tho, don't know if it was the Shaker/Five Times, i'm guessing it wasn't the same clone but it was more than likely from the same time stock - 90's

the true kola is from the midlands , a verient of the original mc , mind controll clone only , nothing to do with my strain mc ,
some get it mixed up with dutch passions kola , there are other kolas out there sadly , inexperienced growers and smoker class most spicy weed in the midlands as kola or m.c , just because of a spicyness , i have not seen the original m.c for a long time , many claim to have it , but when i smoke it she just seems like a spicy sativa , finding it is hard as it gets classed with all the spicy ones ,,,, rudeboys loved kola and m.c , it was so strong , plastering your head every time , good for women for periods .

I know they guy who originaly got the seeds from the dam , he cant remember what they were called , but hemp star seems to ring a bell he said ,

some of the strongest sativa i have smoked , the mc and kola both really sweet , really spicy and small buds but lots of um , but small yield . grown well its amazing grown and sold wet , it can be scratchy looking , and darker

Londinium - thanks for the kind words - much appreciated. I'd love to enter some to the cup to be honest, and were I still at my old place, when I could get 30oz a crop, I'd be laughing. But I'm growing in a 1m X .6m cabinet now, which means around an ounce a plant! Just about covers my personal, with the number of friends who inevitably get to test-drive these...

But - I'm sure something could be worked out for next year - I don't have to grow the cup sample, for example, but someone could...

As for this new one, I'm really excited, as all the three strains that went into it are superb - it's going to be a proper mixed-up kid for a couple of generations obviously, but so what? There can only be better phenos to discover, and if they taste like the originals, I'll be overjoyed. Not sure if it qualifies as a 'UK-bred strain' yet though - I haven't even harvested the seeds yet...

And I'm calling it 'Bilberry', as they're the nearest we ever get to blueberries over here, and they grow profusely near my outdoor patch (very tasty at harvest time!), so it seems appropriate...

Forgot to mention I'm also going to start off some of the JLo V2 batch off soon, along with the five remaining V1s. The V2 was made with a grandson of the original Flo that made V1, so will be an interesting comparison. I'm still sulking at the loss of the first JLo mother as it was sublime, but have more seeds this time, so shouldn't take long to revive that one.

MC Mind Control





I grew these two in 2004 (3mp camera), they took roughly 100 days to finish and yielded around 12oz.
I remember it making me twitch.. and you know you have strong herb when it makes your eyelids vibrate!

That looks like the real mc to me, though quite often all the plants would turn readas did the buds a more lushes red .It sure was some real weird tasting and strong smelling herb.And most of the time all the buds would turn a weird red colour like the plants.

A old memeber on og fcalled barn dweller he had mc going back to 2004 an all his plants turned red .Infact doc you might even remember who i am on about and his grows.He did them in a barn and he did them in cana coco.

I remember the thread and his avatar. I think the cold might have had a part to play in the red leaves.

Fine looking buds there Verge,i know what you are saying about the cold but all the plant an buds from the mc i have seen in the past went red and some that was not done in barns.

I remember 2 other growers did it and both of theres went red to. His first name on og was first hayzooz or somthing like that i am sure, he then changed it to barn dweller.He was a sound bloke and another one who did not pop back up after og went down.

With ours the buds went a fiery orange/brown colour, with very little green, just the untrimmed leaves.

Yeah that was his name! hope he's well wherever he is.
I often wondered if it was the same MC he grew, im still not sure but its what we know as MC. It does have a very distinct spicy taste and smell, quite unique - the high is almost all in the head, one of the most powerful sativa's i've grown. I grew these two from seed I was gifted, not clones. I was assured they were genuine MC from one of the original growers infact, I still have a few left.

Thats the thing verge mc ie mind controld was always a cutting only strain not a seed one so everyone said .Its like i see tooty fruity on one of the list on here how can that be a uk only strains when that was from the usa and sent to a few ogers, me being one and i still have some seeds for it now.

I was given the seeds in '02, small brown envelope of 20 beans with 'Mind Control' scribbled on it.

At the time I just presumed they were collected from MC bud (self pollinated) as i'd heard it was clone only, the guy they were from used to rave about it. "You have to try this MC" he would say, "I can get you some seed". I kinda presumed they would go hermi on me but not a male flower insight. I guess it could be a cross, with another sativa or something different altogether. It could even be one of the MC crosses mentioned in this thread, I dont know when they were made.

A good friend grows one called 'coca-cola', ive tried it a few times.
It does taste a little like cola and is similar to my MC, but not the same.

So yeah, its what we know as MC - I cant authenticate it, but its some damn fine weed nonetheless..

Verge another one that comes to mind that is from the time of mc and is a strain called cherry ak thats from i think about 98 or 2002 when rave music was still good old school another good one is called g they are meant to be a clone only strain no seeds But most of these strains come from the dam then get givern another name .though that is meant to be from afghanistan.

I dont think its the dunk clone but maybe im wrong but i know at least in '03 nthese guys i knew that had it reckoned it was from either a 12 or 20 year clone cant remember which and they wer adament it was G13 though i had my doubts( shes defo got a good amount of afghan in if i remember the smell right) im sure the flower time is a good 10 weeks its been years since i smoked it(g-force too). I havent had the clone long, it was in flower and covered in mites and i had a serious fungus gnat problem which left it wqith no roots at all! But is now got roots and revegging so il post up picks etc when shes something to look at...

Hey LLP glad u liked the SP75% I was just blazing a Doobie of a li'l test bud myself earlier this evening(I WON'T BE SMOKING THAT SHIT B4 BEDTIME AGAIN ANYTIME SOON,WOKE UP 2 HOURS LATER ON SOFA...LOL) Calyxes are still really Phat after drying and shes got good lookin trich's..stalked but bulbous. Deffo more Playdough smelling and muskier than the Puffs and a little thicker on the tongue. Think she might be even better Meds than the puffs so gonna see what my friend with Glaucoma reckon's as she has been using original for few years now.
Just chopped that Sugapuffz you met the other day after few days dark,so gonna do some more comparisons when shes dry as well.Think theres gonna be a very useful male amongst the 75's.
Glad u liked P.P.XSkaze she's no powerhouse but shes tasty,a great Indica antidote and 4 me great Inspiration weed.Lemme know how she runs whenever u get her blooming as that S1 cut is one of my tools for her continuation,she seems to be pretty identical in our tests bar maybe a little loss of yield(but not vigour) but we did spot the odd male flower under little stress....

The final cross the SugaPuffz cut came out of was done just pre-millenium but the female WWx?Stan was around since not long after GH released her(whenever that was)crossed by Smat one of my crew whose no longer in the Mother business(The Female of that cross could still be out there somewhere) and the Eyesore was mine from early 90's so she has lots of U.K. history and a male in the Stan cross thats of unknown heritage(secret ingredient that took the Grime out of Stan).Oh yeah and STAN was bloody OLD like late 80's......
Sugapuffz would've been a stable seed strain many years back if it wasn't for nasty,dirty Scum of the Earth Ganja Thief's Fucking our whole program up... I'm just glad we had cut's elsewhere but sadly project male was lost.
