Live the way I'm living my life now...and buy a Subaru...then put the rest in the bank and gain a lot of interest. That is what I would do and then later on I would invest in something that would make me more money...Or buy a sweet boat and sail around the world. Hhaha

New house out in the middle of nowhere, new apartment in the city, new car, grow equipment, lots of guns, lots and lots of ammunition.

One million lottery tickets!

Nah I'm boring, lots of it in the bank for free cash... EDIT: if I have to spend it one year no point in banking it really, maybe I will buy a big lump of gold with the bulk of the $$$.

But I'd also rent a better place, buy quality buds, take my mates out for free drinks maybe a holiday for us all as well.

i would set up a fund for my nephew to ensure he could go to college, i would pay for my tuition, my brother's, i would pay off my mother's debts, and then i would by myself a decent used car, and i would spend the rest of it on other people.

$1,500 scholarships to local college kids, renovate apartments for needy families, just basically give people a leg up. stuff like that. i would change hundreds if not thousands of other lives, not just my own.

fuck being a greedy edit:asshole? can i say asshole?

Big property, nice, modest home, and safe investments.

Edit: Whoever likes to criticize my grammar can be quiet. I speak better English than most native speakers on here. Criticizing the use of commas in an internet post is a completely worthless way to spend your time. I didn't even attempt to form a complete sentence...

wait, do i have to SPEND IT or do i have to have no equity within one year?

Two VERY different things, cause if it was the first, i'd invest in gold, undeveloped land and for the quick short term buck, food staple futures.

if it was the latter.... big ass setup in a big ass warehouse to go one time around and dismantle. probably not smart from an offloading the product without attracting heat standpoint, but... if i'm getting a million dollars out of the blue to spend within the year, there's not much reality in the whole scenario, is there?

I'm all for the charitable contributions end of it....But just think, they're are probably a whole lot more people who wouldn't do that with their new found cash. The individual that would be generous should think along the lines of spending that money so he can make more money and continue to be charitable.

Otherwise it's similar to giving a man a fish and he eats for a day.....:2cents:

Has anyone ever seen the cash-flow chart on a commercial property ?

Granted, 1 million is on the low side for a decent income producing property, but it's a helluva a start.

The debt service minimum is a 1.2 for a bank to like the deal....I've seen them as high as 3.0+

Not a bad gig if you can get it

Good post Feyd.
