dunno why it works, but it's definitely not gravity. The amount of water we are talking about is so tiny... think about it - the oceans are enormous, and the pull between the oceans and the moon only causes the water to move a tiny bit compared to its volume. A large lake has zero tide. Now go down to the amount of water we are talking about in a plant, and we are talking nil effect.

Water moves up a plant via capillary action. Gravity can't stop it.

Maybe it works because the plants are just happier, or because the soil life is in tune with the moon?

Anyway, neat thread.

Ya'll, went to the Bloom Room, and my blackout curtain was blown down by the wind last night! I hope they got some darkness last nite, no telling when it happened. Guess I'm gonna have to be more careful about leaving the window open when it's stormy. ShootFuzzy!

Mmm. I was a bad girl this morning too, I just had an overwhelming compulsion to squeeze an orange bud a little to see how it smelled....it sho do smell mighty good! Yummy orange smell, maybe a little pineapple smell? Hard to tell, but it do smell good!

I peeked yesterday at 1 of the starter trays, and nothing. I can only see if/when they start searching for the 'slots' in the trays, though. I took the lid off, cause some of the tops/leaves that were pressed up against it looked soggy. Nothing dead yet (knock on wood, as of ~2am this morning), so that's positive

I hope the rain came, and the sun is out for you like it did/is for me, Lola

Wow! I got the first substitute pick I made, only blue instead of green! Lucky me! This is way more bong than I ever dreamed I get. Thanks for the lovely birthday present Dutch! I absolutely love it!

She's 22 inches tall with 2 triple tree perks! There's diffusion and all kinds of good stuff! Smokes so smooth you hardly notice you are hitting and then! BAM! First toke made me a little sick and I been toking this stash for months, so I have a little tolerance built up. I had to wait a little while to cope..lol. I love it. Lovely Cobalt blue glass!

Nothing new to report from the Moon Garden....buds are growing...buds are growing. I went out prospecting for some nice guerilla spots yesterday. I'll show ya the creek later! It's so pretty. I love the outdoors.

Howdy Moon Gardeners!

Moved my plants around today a lot. I had the 2 biggest sucking up all the light of 3 400s, with everybody else sucking hind tit.

Anyway, I moved the 2 big ones to the end of the room, with 1 400 above them. This allowed to lower the other 2 lights closer to the majority of plants. Although the biggest buds may not get as much light on the 2 big gals. Any opinions?

Well, took a few new pics of the White widows in bloom. What? You would like to see them? OK here they are!

I got roots! Forgot to tell you! Did not like this batch of clones. I'm going back to my lucky plastic tote!

I don't know, it doesn't sound like a very effective encouragement method to me.

OK, here's what you do!

First tell them, only the girls will live, and execute males in the veg area for all to see! This encourages females....lol

Also, I clone them, letting them know that now they will live forever! This cuts back on herms, since they understand they have reproduced asexually! lol

Take rooted clones back to Momma and let her feel the rooted clones leaves. They like this, encourages them to give up their lives without a fight! No seeds!




CLONE REPORT: I must be blind! I've probably had rooted clones for days. So far 2/3 have rooted vigorously! For some reason, didn't notice. Must be that new bong...heehee. The ones without the dome have not rooted yet though! This gives me backup copies of most of my gals in bloom. Bad News: Now I gotta start potting them up....oh no! I is tired of potting....lol.... gonna have to root out the best of the bunch when I smoke, and let the rest go free....
