~PIFF~ A.K.A. Uptown Haze/Frankies/Church. Preserving a Heritage...

Art, much respect for you and what you are doing. Ive been following this thread since the start and i am more excited about what you are doing than any other seed co., breeder, or anything. I am origionaly from the hudson valley and the Haze was always around, i got it in newburgh and middletown usually. I have relocated withing the last 2 years and I think about that haze everyday! People always called it purple and i found that to be so frustrating was the cause of many arguments for me...because its not Purple Haze!!!!!! I had never heard the names Piff, Frankies, ect. It is because of that god like ganja that i am primaraly interested in growing hazes. I have grown NL5xHaze outdoors which was great but no NYHaze. I now have my first indoor setup and have a nice SSH clone that smells and looks great but I know it will not fill the void left by the NYHaze. It is the most complete mind and body high and the flavor is just amazing. I will continue watching this thread closely. I wish you the best of luck and hope to see this variety flourish throughout the growing community. You are doing an amazing thing!!!!!!

slang mostly used on the eastcoast....my friends and i use it alot in boston....we usually call bud with a really strong skunk/fuel/kush smell and taste piff.

hahaha tha 20$ .8s....people STILL hate me for that shit 6 yrs ago...lol....yeeeaaaa, but shit was expensive, and worth every dollar....plus when u grippped a zone or two and had to basically "dime" it out, u dont wanna get rid of it and every fuckin tenth means THAAAT much, thats why i dont give a fuck about this cali pride BS, its all about the East Coast HAZE DAAAZE!!....og doesnt compare...sorry valley boys heh...

why piff where does the name come from?
when in nyc everyone was going gonzo for it but creamed when i showed them some purple kush from the A maybe i just got a bad bag but didn't live up to the $70 bucks i paid for the 1/8

all i know is that i call a haze session a prayer session.
cuz the whole room smells like a church when your done.
all the incense, but none of the sodomy from the priests.
ive had some way overprices haze that had huge calyxes large gold trichomes and smelled strictly of sandalwood with a stank but it wasnt skunky and hadno sweetness to it
absolutely the strongest shit i ever smoked a little lasted a while and made you feel relaxd and energetic. too much made you keel over...
i wonder if this was "the piff"

hawaiian snow has that church smell to it, combined with that smell right after it rains in a tropical area. if anyone is interested in a similar aroma from a pure sativa but without any haze in it
i always wondered if other people ever smelled that smell in churches, now I know im not crazy

G.H. catalouge claims too hav incense traits in their lines but ive yet to experience any in all my visits the closest to haze as ino her was hph that is not from their vault but occasionally a specialty item

The hawaiian snow ive smoked has been from my own and from the gh coffeeshop - both smell and taste the same it is def not any haze but it has that stinky-ness to it that churches have - that the piff has as well
hs is good stuff; strong high, it tastes weird but great, kind of onion and sour, with just a little bit of sweetness to it, and the smell it leaves after smoking is nice, not a dirty weed stink. it is very unique and worth a try

I still have my two phenos and this newly acquired specimine. I'm going to keep them around, they take alot longer and are quite different plants than "The Mango".
Time for me to crank out packs of The Mango and bring them to the block to give em all something new to rap about...
