Vapir 1 5.0 Vaporizer Questions

Does anyone else use this vaporizer? It seems that when I inflate the bag it starts to leak out by the disc and the tube area. Will a certain temperature and fan speed help this problem?
Also, Will one disc fill a bag? Or should i burn 2 or 3 in one bag to chong it out?

Any other feedback is much appreciated.

Hey mate, I have this vappy and im pretty happy with it. Are you filling your disc to the top ? If so, then this is ur problem. Fill the disc to a little bit below half, and make sure ur herb are ground good but not TOO fine, as this will block the air flow and cause all sorts of weird leakage.
I must also suggest that u dump the bags that come with it and make ur own. What i did is cut one of the bags and kept the plastic part that came with it, then got a big ol' turkey sized oven bag which has WAYY lighter plastic on it. The lighter plastic means there will be generally way less resistance.

Do this first, try using the direct inhale method. If there is still some leakage, then check how ur filling the disc. If the disc is fine, make sure everything is fit tight. If there is still leakage, i suggest u contact vapir. I added their guy on MSN and I must say he is REALLY responsive. Will get back to you very promptly if his status is set to online, and he's generally quite helpful.

Again, i suggest u make an ovenbag, its way better and generally none of very little leakage as the plastic is light and doesnt force the vape out due to its own weight (like the original bags do). Also, the original bags will get pretty sticky soon enough, so u'll dump them soon anyway.

If u need more help post again and i'll tell you exactly how I run mine and get great results.

Oh yeah. Usually i'd make 2 bags out of 1 disc if I have plenty. 3 if im running a bit low
Though, with the new oven bags i made, i just fill one up and spend like 10 minutes trying to finish it (and failing due to being too f****'d up )

I bought one of these vapes about 4 or 5 yrs ago, and apparently they still suck. My complaint with the unit was the same as yours iceman, it just generally sucks! You seem to have made the same mistake i did which is not reading reviews of the product before you bought it. Its no fault of your own, when a company has a nice web site and what appears like excellent customer service and their product is distributed everywhere you expect more from it but in the case of this vape no they ahvent changed and still suck.
You should do what i did and thats sell it to someone who wnats one of these and sell it for a price they cant pass up and buy yourself a 'whip' style vape, i myself prefer the vapor brothers vapes they are nicely priced and have a great warranty. good luck and i hope this helps

LOL....Yup,I did the same thing.Cheaply made novelty unit IMO.It sits in a drawer,I use my Hotbox more than anything.

whatever it seems like cyber echo has some good ideas. thanks a lot man! I noticed right off the bat that the bags were shit, but 2 chongged out bags off of one 1/2 filled disc? Insane. Ill do some figurin and get back to this thread ASAP.

ok so i basically figured out the whole ordeal thanks to you cyber echo.
Optimal conditions (that worked for me):
Start machine on High Fan Speed, reduce to medium after a little bit.
Set Temp: 352 degrees (I found that slowly raising the temp to about 380 after the bag is about half full).
When Green light turns on put the bag on.
Put in disc filled about half way and turn upside down. I still have to find a device, maybe a guitar stand or something.

The only real problems I have is trying to construct a proper bag out of the Turkey Oven Bags. These were only like $2.50 for 2 at a local supermarket. And it leaks around hose where it enters the vap. I'm thinking electrical tape will work but I've just been lazy.

So if anyone, hint cyber echo, has any advice about a creative bag construction that doesnt involve alot of taping and whatever. looking for simplicity.

sorry bro, you bought a piece of shit vaporizer. I know because I had one.

I had the Vapir One 3.0V (3rd version) and that fucker leaked out through the disc tray also, if they can't fix that simple issue by the time they've produced the 5.0 version then I'm convinced IT IS A PIECE OF SHIT!


When I realized that I'd bought a piece of shit vaporizer I decided to sell it on eBay and this is how I managed to do it.......

I cleaned out my Vapir w/alcohol & then afterwards I burned the 'Jaguar' herbal discs they supplied w/the unit so that I could mask the leftover smell of dank after the thorough cleaning.

I then put the following text into my eBay ad:

"I guess I bought the wrong vaporizer, I'm sure now that this is not the type of herbal vaporizer my doctor has recommended that I use, many of you know what this unit is generally used for and so now I'm offering it for sale. It has only been used 3 times and is complete and functioning fine, the only thing missing are the Jaguar herbal discs that came with the vaporizer."

I spent $150 for my unit delivered & got exactly the same out of it. Buy a VaporGenie imo.

Hey room....I have read post about leaking on the earlier models but I have the new version 5.0 model and its freak'n sick....I love that thing. I have not ran into one at all and I smoke like a chimney every damn day...lol no but seriously check it out. I bought mine directly from vapir.com and it came with hella free stuff...I'm pretty damn satisfied
