1000bulbs.com is great, but one once I got a bulb that didn't work.
They have 42, 55, 65 watters all different makes.
But Home Depot also sells different Kelvin scale bulbs in not as many varieties of wattage.
They have your basic 23w, 27w

Don't forget to follow the link in my sig for info on Remote ballast CFLs. They're really the most efficient you can get.

They're also not coiled up but flat so they're much more efficient at lighting up a canopy of cannabis with the lumens they're producing. :)

(Just think of them as a T5HO tube bent in half.)

Hey everyone! I usually hang out in the CFL Club but happen to stumble my way in here. If anyone is interested in cheap but killer CFL's then go to atlantalightbulbs.com They have the cheapest that I have found so far. They are WAY cheaper than 1000bulbs.com
I picked up my 85 watt-5000 Lumen-6700K for 25 bucks. You can get 125watt for about the same price. They also have an online coupon that you can get. Happy growin!! PUFF PUFF!!

Hi im new here and am interested in micro growing but first i need some cfls..

Checked out home depot and wal mart but the ones they show are not the wattage i want.. who knows a good site i can order from?

Check out atlantalightbulbs.com got 85watt-5000 lumen-6700K or 2700K for 25 bucks, or 125watters for around the same price.
What wattage are you looking for? Wattage is insignificant when using CFL's. The higher the lumens the better. 1000 lumens per square ft is the norm, but I used to run 25,600 lumens in a 55 gallon rubbermaid. Got some killer growth and tight nodes. I could get the lights an inch from the plants without showing signs of heat stress. Check out the CFL Club if your serious about using CFL's as a light source. This pic is of my first micro, 55 gallon, rubbermaid grow using 25,600 lumens. PUFF PUFF!!!

so would i mix the 3000k and the 4100k?

you can mix the 3000K and the 4100K, but I would use more of the 3000K and less of the 4100K. About 70/30. Ideally, you should be using 2700K for flower and 6700K for veg. I'll be on this thread for a minute if you got any more queations. PUFF PUFF!!

I am thinking of going with 6 2 foot t5s 4 bloom and 2 veg, then im thinking of adding 4 cfl's 55 watt 2700k near the middle to maximize lighting how do you think that will go through? this is when the plant is in bloom.
