I was wondering.. If i have indica dominant varieties, and put them in a light deprevation greenhouse in may, how long would it be until i could STOP covering and uncovering the greenhouse every day..? a month?

I am asking this because, i thought i remember reading that indicas can continue flowering under a normal outdoor veg cycle like 15/8 or something similar, as long as they have been in flower for like a 1 month or something. Anyone have first hand exp. with this? How well does it work? Whats the minimum flower a plant needs before it can be taken out of the light deprevation chamber without having it reveg?

I was thinking this could be sweet, cuz if they only need 4 weeks of 12/12, i can pull off twice as many harvests as i usually do, cuz the light dep crops will only need to be in the chamber for half as long as they usually are, before being put outside!!

I imagine that this method will make your plants take a tad longer to finish but who cares when your pulling off twice as many harvests as you usually do. And plus you dont gotta worry bout them finishing in time before frost, because you would start harvesting the deprevation crops in mid july (if you started in may that is) and every 4 weeks from that point on depending on how you have it set up.

HAppy 420 all!!!

they still start the reveg process. i have some pretty indica crosses that i take cuttings from in flower...they keep on flowering for a very long time while they reveg under 24/0. the buds get lots of leafiness, and the main calyx's grow out into twisty little leaves.

I want to know what happened to the 24th hour ... That may be true with the Indica the author was refering to ... there are auto flowering strains that could care less about a night period so I would guess at what you suggest being a possibility but this certainly isn't true for all "Indicas" ... give it a try and tell us wazzup ... it might pan out ... or you might reveg them ... or they might hermie ... If what you read also contained the 15/8 is a normal outdoor veg cycle info (I'm joking ... I see that it's a typo) I wouldn't bet the farm on it ...
