One thing the hipster douchebag culture got right: the latte

It's such a perfect drink. Healthy as hell, with a combination of natural sugars from the milk, great casein prominent proteins, the antioxidants of coffee, all with a weakened yet worthwhile caffeine buzz. And the taste is is unreal. I get it unflavored and then when I get home drop a little real vanilla bean in and give it a twirl.

I'm broke as fuck and I still drop 3 bucks a day on a latte, and it's totally worth it.

Anybody else love these things?

I miss the old style one of a kind coffee cafe's. Nice chill ambience, bob marely on the radio, people hitting a pipe in the back alley. They have been replaced mostly by big chains. And the ambience has been traded for ambien

Also, if you guys didnt know, a perfect stoner treat at starbucks is a frappuccino called the Cap-n-Crunch, off the menu, just order a strawberries n cream frapp., just add chocolate chips and a pump of toffee nut.

I was at first too embarrassed to admit this, but now I must confess. This is a sign that I consider myself amongst non judgmental friends. Here we go:


I actually have a fairly expensive machine. I lost the directions, and I'm too stupid to figure out how to make it without them.

I've stared at that thing like a downs baby for hours and fiddled to no avail.

I love my coffee black... but lattes are boring and too weak. I prefer a nice dry cappuccino.. i am a barista and I must say, that organic milk is the ONLY way to go. If you find the right brand, it foams so beautifully. I wouldn't go so far as to say a latte is healthy though... milk has a lovely way of reducing the orac value of anything it touches.

caffeine is a harmful drug and should be better regulated.
My buddy worked for a bistro/bakery type place - he worked overnight by himelf. I would make myself the hugest most fattening coffee drinks. Like tablespoons of caramel and shit loads of whipped cream. HOney. Then mad free pastries. Always left with a bag of bakery shit and fresh bagettes. I think I have diabetes now.
