There's no easy answer on that question. F3 can have less, more or same potent than F1 from original breeder.

Good breeder choose the best male to pollunate best female. Then F2 generation can be same or better than average F1. Greedy breeder don't give a damn, he just use every plant to procude more seeds.

I have to agree with SovietFinland, it all comes down to the plants you select for breeding.
Maybe someone with more breeding knowledge will chime in on this one.

I agree, it all depends on the parents you chose for the cross.

The larger the initial population is, the bigger the chance of finding good parents. If you start with only a few plants, you might end up breeding individuals that are poor representatives of their strain. Every seed project must be founded on good genes.

You can end up with more, less or equally potent offspring but it all depends on the P1 parents. 10 plants of each strain should be enough in order to find the right plants.

Potency is mainly inherited from the mother so in theory potency should improve with every generation through selective breeding. I consider a strict screening process necessary as making seeds is time consuming. Only the best will do.

I'm going to sow more than 25 plants to find the parents. It will be organic seed production outdoors. It isn't a problem to make really good seeds, just simple selection, all phenotypes included and you can leave everything to mother nature. I'm talking of course about outdoor seed production.

Pretty much the key to unlocking most of Icmag is getting to 50 posts.

You should be good to go. I think they upped the post count limit to 75 so you shouldn't need my ok to join.

Ah hoy hoy, everyone. Got to love the autos, so much can be done. I myself have tried the Masterlow and loved it. I actually made my own cross of Sour Diesel(Rezdog)x Masterlow(Mdanzig) and love it. Props to both the breeders for their hard work. my cross is only 50% auto but i am working on it. Just wanted to give praise to the Autos and all the growers growing them.

the one on the bottom looks like its got a stout compact growth to it.

rub your fingers on the stems, what do they smell like?

The top 1 ,bluestreak. Next bns will have bluestreak in them....which works fine.......because what might be the good % of bns from an untested slightly strange male........... or better use both just to see them both types root in one day for the better male it was.
