Check out my gallery to see my pure led grow, after that wondered what the combination of the 2 would do.The results are beyond my expectations.Unbelievably acellerated growth.And I was able to cram 675 watts in a 4 sq ft space, not happening with pure hps.Situation dictates whether or not you should do a pure led grow.A high # of watts unlike what the manufacturers tell you. People thought a bulb or 2 was going to grow a few ounces.UH-UN. Unfortunately price is the reason these units cant get into the hands of people who need them most, the poor kid paying 400 bucks an ounce for decent shit, and dosent hane a decent space-height width, whatever, that an hps lamp would fit in.People will soon have no problems discretely growing in their apartments. This summer I'm replacing my 250w with a 120w-tri band spectrum ufo, I grow hps and I grow led and I believe in them both. peace, bf

Looks like the only LED grow yeilded pretty well. Will be interesting to see the out come of the LED combined with the HPS's.
Check e-bay listings for TRI-BAND spectrum ufo's.That would be the red orange and blue.Thats what I used in my 100% led grow-check my gallery. That basically shows the results from one ufo- some bulbs- and a couple of panels. And make sure you get the illuminator brand tri-band spectrum ufo's- lotta fakes out there. peace

Thats some serious power.Check it out, what I have works, but I'm going to try and make something better myself. Check out the last post by Weezard- now thats a ufo!

Thats what I hope to show here.To let people know that you can grow alot of personal dank in a small space with these lights.And you dont need to feed some greedhead led "grow-light manufacturer", when you can build your own unit. Even if you supplement a relatively lower wattage hps with a homemade board or 2 or 12, say a 250-150w hps, and you used a high power led source, you will really see something.All growers can benefit from this tech. And thank you for the complimentlike the style man. almost "anyone" can build that in a closet.
