Here are some crosses I made using a smelly superskunk male on two landrace Sativa females.
The superskunk male was from seeds from top notch SS from a mate through his supplier. He was very fast to mature with good vigour and potent cheesy smell. I liked the bud a lot but I wanted to cross it to a very active pure sativa to get a better sativa high with the SS potency, resin and chunkyness.
Here he is
I pollinated this interesting Unknown Chinese Sativa female as I thought she was a good candidate.
Very dense nuggs for a pure sativa. Very trippy high and potent. She was not very resinous though... I hoped the very crystaline SS would help there.
I grew a few f1's and used the best male on the two best females. These are the F2's testers here.
Very Indica expression. Stretchy and stinky like chees, like a twin of the SS father.
More Sativa looking ones, More what I'm aiming for...
Triploid
New arrivals. Looks to be an Indi dom, the bottom one.
I also pollinated a Rooibaard female I found growing outside from builders seeds thrown down. Growing in bad soil but she was good looking. Full red stems and petioles. Nice swollen calyxes with good resin and bright red hairs.
I just made the cross as an experiment. I friend has some huge ones outside. It's seems the red stems and petioles from the Rooibaard are quite dominant. His one's looked very good so I was inspired to test my own. 5 down, one male so far and one very nice looking pheno in f1.
These are f1 testers.
This is the best pheno so far. Looks like a good mix of both parents. Good solid stems and new growth. More sativa looking than the SS and the colouration of the Rooibaard in the stem and petioles.
Very stretchy pheno
Showing only a little red
Smaller but nice looking pheno. I like the look of the leaves...
The runt. Weak from the start.
That's it for now. Hope you enjoy it.
I'll keep it updated as much as I can for those who are interested.
Regards, Ah.
