Hello everyone,

I used to entertain myself with some small scale outdoor/indoor experiments in the early to mid 90's. Some were successful, some were not. I mucked about with some with seeds from Jamaican, Nepalese, Thai and Hawaiian landraces, Northern Lights, California Orange, some unknown Skunk variety and something called "Danish Dynamite". I never did any crosses or anything.

I've been very tempted to start experimenting again. So I've been lurking at this place for a while and decided to register.

For some reason I find outdoor growing much more interesting than indoor setups. Even though the climate here is a bit of a show stopper. To get decent results I would have a very limited choice of strains to use.

I must say that I enjoyed reading about leb27 aka leb30 a lot. Very interesting! I wouldn't mind trying to turn one of those trees into some "red leb". :)

Unfortunately I'm located a bit further up north than the Danes so I'm not sure the leb would like it up here, even though it's been hardened in Denmark for so long.

Anyway. This is a nice place and even if I may not be able to contribute with much more than praise of the work of others I will most certainly enjoy my stay and learn a lot.

Cheers!

Where there is a will there is a way!

Maybe transplant from indoors to out to extend the season.. maybe a green house of some type.

I'm sure you will find help.

Welcome.. You have had more strains then I.. nice!

I'm doing the dance right now!

What's up Meduser...welcome to the mag...
I prefer an outdoor grow too...so much healthier and the growth on a good spring day like today is amazing in the summers, too.
It is an amazing weed I must say...

hi there, and welcome. i'm new myself here at IC.

But I too live further north then the danes. I do however plan to grow typhoon and tanskas nepal, seeds bought from denmark, this year. And I actually expect atleast the nepal to finish early enough. I'm a bit more sceptic to the typhoon. But I will try direct from seed outside this year. And clones the next.
This year will give me somewhat of an idea of how the 2 strains will perform in our climate.

Also the AF-strains are getting better and better every year. After lurking about on this site and seen some amazing AF-buds, I have come to an agreement with myself that I have to at least try it out. To be secured atleast _some_ harvest.

Also, like jack suggested. Growing the plant in a greenhouse or start the seeds inside and plant them outside after they sprout will work with almost any strain that finishes by end of sep. / begining of oct. early may is a nice day to plant btw :)
