Help, possible breech, situation at hand!!!!

hi, im not sure where to post this, but i had 3 plants outside, about a foot tall, two in one spot, and one in another quite a distance away.
i last went there about a week ago, mind you its a long and tedious hike though the woods, in a barren area, away from residential housing according to google earth.
today i arrive to check up on the girls only to find, the one dug up completely roots and all, i then run to the second location and find the other two completely gone, and dug up roots and all, i look around see nothing out of place, and start running, now im no rocket scientist but woulden't LEO let em live and wait until harvest to make a move? perhaps somebody stumbled upon them, although this is highly unlikely.
im not sure what do to, and like always in this hobby i am even more paranoid.
its about a 35 min walk though deep woods away from my house if this helps, mind you it has been very rainy and there are tons of thorns everywhere in the woods. its just mind numbing because of the difficult terrain, and weather.
i guess kids could of stumbled upon them, but im weary, somebody please give me your input, any is appreciated.
signed a weary poster.
ps- only 2 other peeps know the location of the 2 plants, my cousin and my roomate, now one naturally thinks what if i was double crossed? the strange part is, no one knew where the 3 was but me...
please icmag, your input is needed...
:yoinks::wallbash::1help::1help::1help:

i used diluted fish shit with water the first time i planted the two. the third used no shit or otherwise stinky stuff to attract critters, so we can rule that out...

the holes were dug up completely perfect, you could tell tools were used...
perfect circles....no signs of plant matter, or scatterd dirt, or root remains...TOOLS WERE USED.
im guessing i got jacked. its just so strange, because of remote location, weather, and the unknown 3rd spot.
im worried..

Someone stole your plants. You need a new spot!

Tell no one this time... anyone that knew about the spot that got jacked, if they ask just tell them you gave up!

i trust the two i told with my life, as we've been thru about 10 sucessful harvests together.. i figured i got jacked, its just so weird, its so remote and away from anything. scratches head. thanks for the input my friend.

You're back and you're safe... Consider yourself fortunate... Wait until next season to replant there and choose a plot with thorns or thick brush as a barricade.. Plant in the middle of thick brush...

Ya need to get out asap to look for new locations this year....

thanks for the words, im kinda new to outdoor growing.
i just think its funny somebody would steal small plants, non budding.
not to mention its in the Middle of nowhere.
im all worked up, and yes im fortunate.
anybody have any similar experiences?
please feel free to share, im still freaking a little.

fuck do some forensics I mean little late now ut you shoul\ have been looking for footprints how well formed fresh weathered=how long ago they were made note the brand style of tread. take binoculars and do the exact same thing you did the first time you planted same route everything.now find a location you can best safely observe all aenues of antrnce escape.go back look for tracks follow them to where they go if you can you might find your plants transplanted, now if you can find some clay plaster o paris whatever to make a mold of footprints to save for later date do it.now check the foot wear of all your friends people who you suspect, anyone who knows you knows you bus and doesn't like u is suspect.
hell get a motion detector camera plant another one in same spot and see what you dredge up on film. it would be funny if you could lojack your plant, and surprise the thief by emptying his home out into a moving van while he/she was away at work. I h8 rippers

yea sumtimes people backstab...only 3 people can keep a secret... if 2 are dead....and seeing as there in dif spots im geussin sum1 watched you go to thm othr wise theyd never find both mayn....sumtimes u jst gta trust yerself....ohh and yeaaaa MOVE THE HELL OUTTA THAT AREA haha ;) take it eeasy buddy

Sorry for your loss, but " Three can keep a secret; if two are dead!!"
One of your trusted buddies made a move or talked to someone. If your areas as remote as you say it is waaaaaaaaay unlikely someone "stumbled" across em. I have been ripped long ago, a day from harvest, and only "one" person was up on it. Now I am a solo act (for 30+ yrs) and guess what ...none missing! :woohoo: They also sell hunters cameras so you can peek out who it was with some bagseed crap and say it's "super fantastic best ever etc etc etc" and then you'll know. :yeahthats

Once, I had a few totally taken. As you described, dug up. I planted them not far from an obvious path. I also put huge gnarly cages around them. There were also a decent amount of houses in the area. Helicopters, also flew often. I was young and oh so dumb. I think a nosey neighbor heard me digging possibly(rocky soil), or just noticed the horrible path I left. Again, all novice mistakes. I wouldn't worry, just get more stealth. It sounds likes in your area you need to be. Plant them solo. Put them almost into another plant, hardwood preferably, that way it will still be around come late fall. I find raspberries also work exceptionally well. Especially because you can crawl through them and not leave a path visible from above or even the sides.

Once, my buddies plant got ripped days before harvest. In it's place was a police officer's card. He drew a sad face that said 'you' and a happy face that said 'me'. He also wrote, "If you want your plant back give me a call". HAHAHAHAAHA....

This is why you have 3 locations. One for the rippers, one for nature and one for you. You had one location with a bit of spread between them. (Eggs in one basket, so to speak)

I'm guessing you'll be working things a bit differently next season?

since when to PO's carry business cards =\

All do. It's required. If you ever ask a cop his name and badge number, by law, they're supposed to tell you, usually they give you a card. My cousin is a MA state troopa and whenever I see him he gives me a dozen or so. Helped me out of a few sticky situations.

Does this mean you figured out who did it or just moved on?

I believe for my own peace of mind would go out validate my suspicion. Use it an as a learning tool because they have no way to tie you to plants that don’t exist.

In my mind this is invaluable experience first off look for evidence of the ripper perform an autopsy of sorts. Look at the sight thorough new eyes what did you do wrong, it could have been dumb luck but probably not analyze your mistakes. A failed grow teaches you as much probably more than a good grow. Take it from someone who has been ripped and made his share of mistakes.
PEACE

My thoughts were that if its as remote as you say and the way they were dug up possibly someone was looking for a spot of their own and found your first one and maybe followed a trail to the rest of your spots.Wouldnt be suprised if your plants are happily growing with someone elses now as if they were just rippers they would take the plant not go through the hassle of digging up the whole thing roots and all.
Just my thoughts
