Here we go. This is what I currently have going. First up is the Afghani. I'm not impressed so far. 8/10 germ rate 6/8 males. Majority are tall and lanky, sativa in structure. I have one male that looks like a decent Afghan. Here are the two females.

I have two M-I-S going as well. One is more sativa leaning and one looks as indica as it can be. The sativa is already showing trichs at 16 days. I have a bunch more of these seeds and plan on doing a run of all of them later after I finish getting my seed orders. I hope to find something interesting.

Here is the female from the locally grown outdoor. Came from last years crop from a friend. This is stuff that came out of the apppalachian mountains. It's been there a long time.

picture.php

My keeper male from the same crop.

Here is the lone Kentucky indica X Masterlow F-2. She has been through hell. She stretched so fast that she hit the light three times. Her cola is stunted pretty good. She is at 5 weeks here.

picture.php

Here is the cab shot. Small numbers this time around. I had a horrible male to female ratio with this last batch of seeds.

picture.php

I can't wait to get these done, then the seedlings I have in veg now. Then I get to start some new (to me) genetics. I have two packs of Triesel, Cali-o x Deep Chunk, and SDOG. Maybe that will make things interesting.

No replys still? Where's the love at?

No replys still? Where's the love at?

Allright I guess it's time for an update. I have a couple things going on here. No real pattern or organization hence the name. I try though. First up we'll go with updates on the flower cab.

Nirvana Afghani. Still not impressed. Not much else to say. I found a decent male at least.

picture.php

picture.php

Here are the M-I-S. I'm impessed with the more Sativa of the two. She has a fruity smell and she is packing on more trichs than anything else currently in bud.

Here is the lone female I kept of the appalachian bagseed. She was the most sativa oriented as well as my other favorite at the moment. From her early structure she looks like she will be a good yielder for my applications. The male from these seeds I kept looks to be a yielder as well.

picture.php

picture.php

Kentucky Indica X Masterlow F-2. Not much has changed, putting on a little more weight but she was stunted pretty bad so it's a lost cause for any yield.

Lone stretchy mexican brickseed just for the hell of it.

Let's see what we have here in veg. Now I'm usually not a fan of naming a strain you put no work into, but this is a different situation. I've been getting commercial weed in this area for a long time. Every once in a while for about 8 to 10 years now I'll run across this same weed. Statisticly I'm full of shit but this stuff is unmistakeable. It's a dark green almost black weed. Very compressed but greasy. It's a pain in the ass to break up cause you have to rip it instead of crumble it. This stuff weighs twice what it looks like. It always had an undescribeable yet unmistakeable taste. Me and my at the time teenage circle of friends called it Rastafarian Funk. The name kind of stuck. It is in no way from Jamaica. It originates here in the mountains from what we have figured out. The seeds are always crushed but I was able to salvage a couple out of my last sac of this. I now have six of them going. Very healthy and vigorous plants. Two of them have an extremely pungent smell already. I wold like to do an IBL with this depending on how they turn out. Selections very low but it's all I have to work with on these. They have suprisingly all turned out very uniform. This kind of correlates to me getting this stuff for as long as I have been. The two on the top and bottom left are not R.F.

picture.php

Here is the other bagseed that came from the same batch as the newest one in the flower cab.

picture.php

One tester of a Mandala #1 F-2. She looks like a nice plant so far.

picture.php

Cuttings from my Mandala #1 keeper. Trying to get a new mother established. I'm not happy with the structure of the reveg mother.

picture.php

Speed queen cuttings. Done in jiffy pellets with Roottech hormone. 23 out of 24 rooted. These will be going to the 1 square foot challenge. (Will be starting new thread for these.)

picture.php

picture.php

Males showing thier true selves running a little long. Afghani on the left and Appalachian on the right. The appalachian looks to have some yield enhancing properties, we'll see.

picture.php

Little mutant. Speed Queen X (Bushy Sativa) X (Kentucky Indica x Masterlow)

picture.php

picture.php

Cab shot at 3.5 weeks.

picture.php

Thats about it for now. I'll have more later.

Here is the KI X ML chopped and drying. It will probably yield around a 1/2. Not bad for something with no cola.

picture.php

Here is a friends garden. He's growing some brickseed in flower and 6 of my crosses in veg. It's under a 400 HPS and the veg is under 8 CFL's.
So far I'm very impressed with the big sativa he lucked out with. I'm going to try and take some cuts and cross it with SSH or Kali most.

picture.php

picture.php

Here are some mutants. They all seem to have self topped. One even has four tops. They are all speed queen F-3's. These were bred on the heavy indica side of the strain. The one I'm running is a different mother from the original seed pack. It was the more sativa one.

Here's a little shot of the M-I-S. It's coming along nicely. I can't get enough of her smell. Fruity little bitch.

I'll definitely be watching this thread, if for nothing other than the MIS. That Appalachian looks nice as well.

I got sick of waiting on the R.F to show sex. Still has no preflowers except for a male or two. One of them smells like a nasty ass skunk. There is one other that smells very strong. It smells like dank moss and earth with grapefuit undertones. I don't know the sex. I threw them in the cab under 12/12 still in the solo cups. As soon as they show I will transplant.

What exactly is going on in that bucket? I'm having a hard time figuring it out.

Bubbling my water. I bubble it in the cooler for a couple days till the chlorine test shows clear then I fill up to milk jugs and add nutes. I'm using the earth juice line plus age old kelp and molasses. There is a second two output air pump that works the milk jugs. Wal-mart has airstones that fit perfect in the jugs. I bubble it there for 3 days before I use it.

Here's a little update on the M-I-S. Couple photos actually. It's week five today and she's still going slow. She has become my favorite plant in the grow.

I'm an official Nirvana hater now.

I'm an official Nirvana hater now.

Remember the Afghani I was previously not happy with? Well now it just plain blows. Out of a 10 pack I had 8 germ 6 males and now 2 hermies. I cut the tall ass lanky non afghani resembling ladyboy bitches yesterday. Frankly I don't care enough to take the time to say excactly how old they were, look it up if you care that much.
Both MIS phenos are coming along very well now. I seeded both of them to play with outdoors. I will be keeping the taller pheno until I run the rest of my MIS seeds looking for a male and the best female.

picture.php

picture.php

The appalachian is coming along nicely as well. It got the same treatment as the MIS ladies. I don't know how much I like this one. We will have to see later.

picture.php

The Rastafarian Funk is better than I could ask for. Smelly bastards. They are the only plants I've had that got me thinking about a carbon filter. They are only at 15 days that is the sad part. One is trying to go through the roof on me. Not a problem as I have a remodel in the works. My 250 and bake a round just arrived. When I switch lights and move the electronics around I'll be able to raise the ceiling hieght. The real stinker is the shorter more indica resembling pheno. As usual I'll pollenate the bottom buds on all and reveg them all then save the best mother after a good smoke test. I'll either do an IBL or backcross and then inbreed from there. I'm really excited about these even though theres not a lot to choose from.

Here is a mutant leaf off of the Tri seedling. So far she is around five or six nodes and still has not reverted to a normal plant. This is the wierdest leaf I've ever seen. It has two levels and 10 leaflets.

picture.php

picture.php

That's all I've got right now so enjoy.

I had a similar one from my current grow. It was two levels as well. It had 8 leaflets most of its life, with the two top leaflets under the rest. Finally it grew a ninth just before I snatched it when training. It was an even number though from the time it formed. I actually saved it in a book because I found it so odd. It's actually growing MUCH better than the other girl that was beautiful and vegging at the same time.

The seed was a DP Orange Bud. Nothing on that plant looked right during early veg. It was super stunted and grew like hell. Now it's growing beautifully and has nice hard buds that are glistening.

Heres some pics.

Heres some pics.

It's been awhile eh? The RF is doing great. My favorite one somehow got put into a pot without any drainage holes and was overwatered to the point of no recovery. I cloned her and I'm still waiting for roots to form. Sad but it's a last ditch effort. It works out better this way cause it will give me more selection for a male from the incrosses I made with it's siblings. Anyways here are the two survivors.

Here's an F-2 from the sundrop pheno of Mandala#1. She has a delicious lemon merangue (SP?) fragrance. Frosty as shit too. I just wish she was not so stretchy and low yeilding.

picture.php

Got the mother sundrop M#1 going as well. Five of them in there at 1 week. This will be the last run of her as I tossed the momma.

picture.php

Here's my favorite pheno of M#1. She has the same Lemon merangue smell and flavor as the F-2 from the other pheno.

picture.php

Here's the tri that I have going. It turned out to be a male. A strong one at that. A tad bit overferted but he does not seem to mind a bit. My friend has one as well that came from my seed stock, I'm still waiting on sex for that one. If it's a female we might have some tri babies coming.

picture.php

picture.php

Here's what I have going in veg. Two of them are temporarily called inlaw, one male one female. I haven't smoked what they came from but it's supposed to be excellent. My ex mother inlaw made a special trip over here to give me two seeds she claims she got into an arguement over with here friend. She's been smoking for 30+ years and she told me this was the best weed she ever smoked in her life. We'll see right? They are the two indica doms on the top left. The other ones are the Mexican sativa clones I took from my friends plant. As soon as I get all this ran through the cab I'll get to the stuff I got off the 420 auction. I almost went broke over there.

picture.php

I think thats it for now. L8ter heads.
