So far I have a few seeds started and some sexed indoor. Its been too cold to do much else but its something. ATM I have:

Texada Timewarp: 1 male
Texada Timewarp IBL: 1 female
Congo x GG: 2 females, 1 male
GG#3: 1 female, 2 males
picture.php

Manitoba Medicine #2: 4 unknown seedlings
picture.php

I have more seeds of all those plus some others. I am gonna start 3 more Texadas to find a girl. I also have some GG#5 I will start in a couple weeks, probably start 4 of these.

I prepared 4 holes yesterday. They are the same ones I used last year but I mixed it up a bit. I dug them all up and added in a bunch of blood meal plus some lime and Marine Cuisine. Mixed the soil up real good and added a guerilla collar to each. Those 4 holes will be planted pretty early, probably May 10-15th with a TT-IBL, Congo, GG#3, and a MM#2. Hopefully can get some nice bushes going at this spot again.

I have 8 rubbermaids out near the swamp I am going to grow in this year. I plan to get out there and prep the spots and tubs for the coco next week. Then I will just have to haul out all the coco, which I can get done this month. I plan to do most of the tubs with multiple plants, 2-6 each. 2 of the tubs I am going to try horizontally planting a 12" clone.

I have 4 more holes I prepped last year and didn't use. I plan to plant some force flowered C99s there in late July, 8-12 clones there of a kick ass mother I have.

I am also going to do a couple corn field grows, but nothing much going on there as of yet. There are TONS of corn fields around here so its just a matter of picking one and planting some GG#5 there in mid June and picking in late August.

Lastly, I am going to have a couple super stealth seed plots to make some F2s of Greens beans. Will just put a couple plants in the woods and let them have at it. I'll use a GPS and pick a spot way off the beaten path and only visit a couple times this summer. 5 or 6 of these spots should assure me a good stash of these genetics.

Thats it for now, hopefully the weather stays decent and I can out into the field some more. It felt great!

Well, the one picture was from January but that is the last time I was out by the swamp so I figured I would post it. Its still brown out there, but we are looking at 50s and rain this coming week so stuff should start greening up real soon. By mid May it will be a jungle.

You should have tried to scrape together the cash for the seeds, Greens is retired now so they are gonna be hard to come by now I fear.

God I just want to drive out to my spot again already, the urge to work the land is strong! At least gas won't be $4 a gallon this year, damn we all spent way too much money on gas last year.

You and I have similar climates and growing styles. Those Rubbermaid containers in the swamp look too familiar. I just start my seeds in them though. What a bitch of a winter this year. I want to get my GG3 started earlier this year for a little more veg time but f*** the weather has been so cold and wet I just don’t know.

Like to hear about the Texada Timewarp, first time growing or do you have any grow/smoke reports on her?

Have you started your GG3 indoors already?

I got some of the last AK99XFL and wanted to get some of the MAF but ran out of frog skins hope we get a little warmer soon I would love to put my GG3 in the cold frame on May 1st.

Good luck and keep the grow thread going cant wait to hear how the cornfield grow goes never did one myself but love the idea.

PEACE

Heya hamstring thanks for stopping by.

First time with the TT for me. Its got good vigor so far. I had some germ problems but that was operator error.

I do have one female GG3 started. Shes about a month old, I topped her and sexed that, she hasn't shown any preflowers yet. I have her and the others in 17/7 atm, gonna take some clones soon.

I haven't done the cornfield thing myself either, but there are just so many fields around here it seems like a waste not to try. A few of them are within easy bike ride range, so its low risk too. I won't have many pics of these as I will only visit at night, but I will let you all know whats going on with them for sure.

Good luck to you too, its gonna be a great year!

Wisco,

I started working on my soils and spots this last week.

Well, I attempted to get out to my swamp the other day, but the woods is flooded. I was able to get about half way there, but then the water just got too deep. I have 8 tubs out there, so I will need to get there eventually, but it will have to wait a bit. The water level should be going down soon, but just in case...

I decided to grab 2 tubs from the store and made my way to a slightly more accessible swamp. I still needed to wear hip waders, but I made it. I installed 2 tubs and hauled in the coco for them. I broke up the coco and had quite a bit of lime mixed in.

I'll have to get back next week and recheck the situation. If it is still too wet to get to my main spot, I will probably do 2 more tubs at this new spot.
