Hi!
I'm not a new member but i haven't been around much. Now that I have time to be more active I thought I'd introduce myself first.

I'm from finland, and have been doing outdoor grows for a couple of years, I'm not that much of a indoor grower. For this years grow I've got some interesting Finnish genetics, and I have been thinking of starting my own thread in the outdoor section.

Thats a beautiful Thyphoon! I hope you make an outdoor growthread with some finnish strains and some Thyphoons, nordic grows are always interesting. Best grow wishes anyway. What did you think of the smoke on thyphoon?

Thank you dyr! I know what you mean when you say nordic grows are interesting. I just love following nordic grows grows, especially you danes tend to end up with awesome trees:yoinks:! So I will push myself to making a growthread:whip:.
I really liked the thyphoon, not the strongest I've smoked, quite mellow actually. But it was energetic and uplifting, great daytime smoke, when you don't want to be stoned off your ass. I liked it so much that I ordered 50 thyphoons from tanska for this year.
I'm also trying tanskas nepal this year, hoping it could finish here in Finland. Is there anything you can tell me about nepal? I understand you and tanska are somewhat close:rolleyes:

If Thyphoon finish where you're at Nepal should too, some phenos are even earlier than Thyphoon. The nepals we had 07 all finished first week of september but in 08 they seemed a bit later so we didn't harvest till mid to late september to make sure all seeds were mature. It's a dedicated outdoor strain and it doesn't perform well indoors where some go AF and strech like mad during flowering. The stone should be a bit further towards the indica side, a bit "heavier" than Thyphoon, good to fall asleep on but that's just what I've heard I find it very hard to judge myself. But Tanska atleast think Thyphoon is a bit stronger than Nepal.

Welcome Kalber! May I ask what genes you have? Always intrested about outdoor grows at Finland.

Very nice, Finx is some very potens smoke from what I've experienced. How about Ovela ratsastaja, have you grown it before? I've read that its not that potent but it should be quite quick bloomer.

If you're wondering what might that be heres the gene pool for Ovela ratsastaja. ps. the picture is borrowed from elsewhere, sorry about that.

Wow, thanks Xtas, I'd kill to get one of those for all outdoor finnish strains :p. Elmanito, I don't know you could get those seeds, I won them in a contest...

Those Ovela Ratsastaja seeds are probally moving only inside Finland but of course theres a high chance that seeds have moved along all over Scandinavia. But I personally don't have any of those seeds.

Maybe you should try to contack some finnish growers who likes to fight with the girls in this gold climate.

My apologies for kinda hijacking this thread Kalber, sorry.

i also running pehkuruders and FINX, can you tell me anything else about the finx? do you have pictures? did you say it was lr2xhollands hope Xlr2?
