looks great bro - - i wold really assume that its the abusive cut....ur gonna hvae some nice colas for sure....trim of fan leaves??? looks like ur getting plenty of light penetration, i dunno ur setup buuuuuttt if you DOOO feel like you have to remove fan leaves, i.e. sour bubble takes over, i like to just take the ends of fingers...ya know?? the ends of the leafs, three, two at a time....that way the plant can still carry out its natural process thru chlorophyll with the FanLeaf and take energy from the rest of it, still allowing more light penetration to the bottom sites....kinda just stand over ur canopy and go in there like edward scissorhands but be careful....anyone else agree with me on this one?
I personally dont feel I need the light penetration, I just assumed if I removed a fan leave, that would be 1 less stem in my weed and the nugs would fill up where I pruned the fan leaf.
I'm going to leave them. Me and a friend had this debate, hes been making his bitches look naked and I told him he's crazy. He says his plants are about 5 days behind me but the buds look bigger.
I still told him he's crazy and I'm not touchin my girls. I was going to do 1 plant to see the difference but she doesnt wanna be sacraficed.

i dunno ive heard the mayhem about stripping your plants, and i always wanted to do the same, but when ur gut tells you STOP IT! its kinda hard to pull those suckers away esp. when you love ur mama....IMO if you are trying to get less work, and what i like to do is...... a day or two b4 harvest b4 i kill the lights and right around the last watering (b4 my 48hr darkness period), i pluck a lot of the fan leafs that dont have any sugar off the plant, it helps with drying and the total moisture in the entire plant...

starve? soooorta...u want the plant to make enough energy to carry out its last life process....but if all organic i stop feeing 7-10 days b4 harvest and start a nice clean water flush, checking my PPM of the water and the runoff, to ensure same PPM is being acheieved
That's a great way to see if the same PPM is being achieved. Lower the PPM the less nutes being spit out the bottom of the pot, correct?
If i'm using FF line of Organic and chem (open sesame, beastie bloomz, AN overdrive) should my flush be longer?
I was thinking of 14 days but I'm unsure.

i woudl go 2 weeks - and use some sort of salt leeching application, it cuts down on how much water you use (if all organic) and it leechs the salts outta the dirt for chem...clearex is good imo, never used it for chems (never used em), but for organics it cuts down on the amount of water as i am limited on the water i use...

damm lookin nice and frosty over there. seems to be putting on weight jus like u wanted. mine are a little behinds urs and they dont have that much weight yet but im just usin pbp with no boosters. mine looked identical to yours in veg but now urs looks to have more leaves and fatter ones. same with headimonster. the stretch seems about the same though. most the og pics ive seen have had leaves that looked almost like my bubba. my og looks VERY VERY similar to my sour diesel. kinda pissed about the skinny leaves. i donno both u and headimonster, and whoever posted the abusive pic all have fat leaves. imma be pissed if this cut im growing aint even og. i was told it was a sativa and that it needed 70-75 days with a medium yield but im starting to think the real deal might be more indica and more like 60-65 days. ive been trying to get pics for days now, but i give up unless someone can tell me how to get rid of the damn yellow hps that makes it impossible to see anything...????...

wow bterzz, nice job. Those OGk's are already really crystally for their age. I have a grow on about the same days flowering as you, i've been dealing with cold temps but i also have a 600 watt hps flowering on some girls. Ill be following your grow, if you get a chance go check out mine.
Supi, sup bro. My leaves were coming in REALLY skinny, and once they were finished growing the fingers became a little more wide.
Even though its the same cut I do have some different looking leaves. Some a little lighter green and some a little skinnier, but very hard to tell. Take your girls out of the HPS room to avoid the yellow lines. Some cameras do it, some dont.
I was told to take it to a full 75 days as well, but I asked the source of the cut and he said I'd be wasting my time if I went any longer then 56 days....56 days , really? I think he was high...
Hovs, Thanks a lot man! I havn't had the most optimal temps lately either, sometimes they drop to about 72 lights on. I'm not sure if that to cold but they used to stick around 76 room temp.

bterzz good way to check IMO is a microscope 60-100x, check the resin glands when they are mosted all cloudy and with a few ambers ...chop for a nice even head and body stone....for more of a high all clear, for more of a body all amber....

do you think I should bump up the level of food a little bit? I think so. I havn't seen any problems with nutrient burn so maybe she wants more.

i would say let her go at least 65 days. However much longer after that is up to, but at least make it to the 9 week mark
