just watched it (roomie rented it)

not a bad movie, kept me going all the way

interesting story, nice happy ending

The only thing I didn't get was why the brother got in the bath with all the money?! Why not just do what he was gonna do?

No. Drama.

One of the better movies I've seen in a while! Def. check it out.

music has a lot to do with it though, the soundtrack is like its own character haha

My favorite scene was when his hero came to their town, and he was stuck in the bathroom haha...

It was nominated for, and maybe it won some awards... I don't follow that (at all) but that's how I heard about this movie. I'd recommend it to just about anyone at least once.

Yes, it is actually quite good. Probably a lot better in theaters though, compared to a lot of films and their DVD experience. The pounding audio in the parkour chase sequence early on with the characters as children was enough to warrant seeing it at the cineplexes.

If you have a really good sound system, this is a good film for it.

Reminiscent of something parkour...it was the only word I could use to describe it. Not in the cliche, flipping off of trash cans and using belts to swing across alley ways, but you get what I mean =P

the wrestler sounds badass, i'm a huge Pi and Requiem for a Dream fan, and also mickey rourke... so that movie should be badass...

and yeah, the chase scene(s) in Slumdog are badass
