will this trigger early flowering??

i pop my seedlings under 24/0. once the first set of true leaves (not the round ones that turn yellow and fall off) are protruding, i stick them under 16/8. will the switch from 24/0 to 16/8 make them think its already time to start thinking about flowering? i definitely do not want it to.

Not to worry, with the exception of auto-flowering strains/hybrids, they won't start flowering until they receive 10 hours or more of uninterrupted dark.

no

They wont be triggered till they have become sexually mature, and even then. you have to drop the hours to 12/12 in most cases, assuming we are talking about non-auto flowering verities.
