looking for something small to smoke out of..

So im looking for something small that i can just like put in my pocket and use for smoking.. preferably something around $20-$40 max. im thinking a spoon pipe.. good choice or is there anything else i can get thats better...?

Lots of gas stations/convenience stores also sell corn cob pipes. Also depends on where you are. I know they were selling tons of them in NY.

I agree with Rojo. Those little single blown pieces with the carb on them are great. They change color once you smoke them in (cool!) and if anything bad happens to you they can be thrown away or stomped into a million little pieces. I like the really small ones.

LOL.....I remember the apple,but the carrot!!!! for creativity.I suppose when yer done with it you could juice it,why waste a good carrot.Damnit,now I gotta make one.

unless you can find one of the really nice prodo one hitters that has a spiraled body and carb on the end which cancels out both the negative aspects of oners (ash in the mouth and no carb). and yess, if you hit it right you won't pull ash through a regular oner, but I like not even having to think about it.

Also, forget the brand's name at the moment, but they make a high quality glass version of the cheapy metal bats that are made to look like a cigarette. Has a nice built in screen and comes w/pouch n cleaning wire. by far the best option for stealth hits here and there...it never left my side when I used to work construction,,, quick snaps of dank made the days go much quicker. I'll see if I can find the name, know they have a website.

Someone I once knew always used the socket, its good if in a jam and have nothing else, but you run the risk of burning your nose ( Rudolf ), and it gets hot rather fast. ( ouch my lips )

A baby carrot about the size of a regular glass one hitter does the job, and surprisingly does it well. Depending on the shape of the carrot you can either make a spoon ( for solar tokes ) or a one hitter with the bowl at the end.

Take a small Philips screwdriver (slender, and not to short) or nail (preferably clean) and drill in the center of the end of the carrot to create the stem. ( if it’s a one hitter go all the way through, if a spoon stop to where you plan on having the bowl). You may need to run the screwdriver or whatever device through a couple of times to make the stems hole stays that diameter. Then take a cap from off a bic pen, ( has a little clip on the side ) and gouge out the size bowl that you prefer at the end, or on the top for a spoon.( however deep, however wide). You can use it to smoke joints out of (with the one hitter method, I prefer this ), or just as a regular pipe. It gives a pretty clean and full smoke to, not nasty like an apple can get IMO (plus its super concealable). If push comes to shove you can always eat this pipe in one bite ( which is why I like it so much ). Great for snowboarding!! I prefer the one hitter design over the spoon. After a day, especially after being in the refrigerator it gets nasty and shriveled ; but the good thing is they are very cheap ( cheapest pipe ever ). Its cool because some carrots are naturally shaped like a pipe.

if you've got some decent drillbits, a good drill, and a drillstand you can drill a pipe in exactly the same way that the above carrot pipe is mentioned out of any reasonably big bolt.. got about 3 i made out of old wheel studs off some small car or u-haul type trailer somewhere in the garage, never break, doesn't heat up fast, reasonably small, and makes a good throwing device.. you might wanna file the threads off the mouth end though.. i got really creative with one of mine and an angle grinder and ground it down to a very small, just over an inch long, thin discrete pipe.. gotta root them out one day for pics, i dont use em these days, smoke a joint instead.. tis prob easier to do that here in the uk(well, in this bit of it at least) and get away with it

The trick is keep your drilling SLOW, take it easy or you'll snap the drillbit

o ya back in the day i used to use a 2 liter bottle(or any bottle), a rachet socket ( i think u call it) , electrical/duct tape and somethin to cut a hole in the bottle. cut hole just smaller then the socket so it fits in snug then tape up the remaining space around.. dont forget to poke a hole for the shotgun!
o ya and a screen is nice to if u can scrounge one up.

NOKUY knows whats up with socket pipe, I have a few stinky ones in my toolbox. The socket can also be utilized into bowl pieces or bong stems. Stick one into a paper towel roll and you got a nice steam roller. Melt a hole in a bottle with a hot screwdriver, then push a deep-well socket in there and you got a quick bong. Gently break out the indent on the bottom of a sobe bottle (or any with the indent on the bottom) and put a socket in the lid, and you got yourself a waterfall pipe.

It's called a Bat & Dugout and they run about $20.

The wood dugout holds the brass bat (2-3 hits per load) and also has the dug out section to hold some smoke. Fits in your pocket or an eyeglasses case.

DON'T use the aluminum bats. They're not healthy for you. Most smoke shops will switch out the aluminum bat for a brass one at the time of purchase.
(Yes, my bat needs to be cleaned.)

Found at the local head shop crude looking, but nice fir/mahogany laminated beginner pipes. With my Roto and knives, sandpaper, I can create the nicest little pipes. Make it small as you wish, be careful not to get carried away and carve/sand to close to the stem hole. It's fun to start with a blocky looking pipe and hours/days later and end up with art as it is....
