Hey everybody. I had started a thread a few months ago to document the building of my new room, but unfortunately I had to postpone my plans due to some security issues, but now XIII (my partner) and I are back and better than ever with a new room.

Room & Equipment

10' x 6' room
1 1000w hps Sun System 10 ballast w/ Super Sun 2 hood (Soon to be 2)
Vortex 6" 449cfm inline fan
5000btu Window A/C
TMP DNe Temperature Controller w/ Night and Day Settings
20lb CO2 tank w/ CAP solenoid/regulator
Sentinel CPPM-1 Fuzzy Logic CO2 controller (Ordered, on it's way)

Electrical
We have a dryer chord pigtail running to the 40 amp water heater timer, with two seperate 20amp rated cables running to each light receptacle. (Decided to keep the 120v receptacle and ballast cable) We also have one 20 amp 120v line running to two junction boxes which takes care of CO2, the Vortex, the A/C, pumps in the future, and the additional 400w MH that we have in the room until we flip to flower. (Which should be a few days, btw)

Genetics
Legends Honeybee (Biker Bob x Flo)*

Hi Fi (F13 x Herijuana) [Heavily F13 pheno isolated, w/ slightly more yield than I imagine from the F-13, thanks to the Heri]*

Purp Butters x Herijuana*

Blue Baloney*

Ortega f2*

NTO - Northern Texas Ortega (Northern Lights #5 x Ortega)*

Pale Ale Herijuana (Lemon Dust Kush x Herijuana)*

Ohio Dumpster Cut

We also have some Dj Short's Vanilluna on the way, but it has yet to arive. Kick some luck my way next time you spark.

(* thanks to Ab-Normal CoOp)

Currently in the room

6 plants in 3 gallon pots of pure coco, all from seed -

Two Honeybee phenos, a Purp Butters, a Blue Baloney, an Ortega f2, and a Hifi.

These guys got God only knows how much veg under daylight cfls/400w MH plus 3 weeks under the 1000w HPS and 400w MH w/ CO2 Supplementation.

Don't mind the Mustard Yellow bastard. I'm thinking about clearing the room and painting that white. Let's see if I get the motivation.

Good to have you guys along. Thanks for the positive words. :joint:

Greyskull, I'm stoked about that Honeybee, too homey.

So in preparation for getting the second 1000 watter running staggered, we've clipped 20 clones off of the two Honeybee phenos (1 + 3) that are about to go into flower. They're pretty bushy, so they probably didn't even notice.

So we figure if we get 16 well rooted clones out of these, we can give them a 2-3 week veg under 800w (400mh + 400hps) and flower them out in 2 gallon pots of coco on a 4x4 ebb and flow table.

What do you guys think??

quick security note: All Cell phone's have GPS tracking units in them, when you take a picture with a cell phone camera the JPEG file is often encoded with the GPS location of the picture. I highly recommend not uploading cell phone cam pics and instead copying them to your computer, reducing the quality or in some way altering the original file before uploading.

While I always appreciate a security tip, I'd like to know if you have a reference for that particular bit of information, or if you're just stating a blatant possibility.

So it all boils down to, does that ACTUALLY happen (ie, have you ever seen [not heard of] this having been used?)? If not, I'm not terribly worried about it. My state's decrim for the most part, so if anyone REALLY wants me that bad.. Hahaha.

The first few weeks of flowering are always a bit slow, but soon enough we will have bud porn! The stretch is almost over...

We recently evened out the canopy with some (light) training and realized exactly how many tops there are. We also threw a 400w HPS on the side for a little side lighting. Pics to follow, I'm sure.

Until next time :joint:

Day 9 of flower

Day 9 of flower

Nothing too eventful yet. Seeing a bit of pistil development, so they should be starting budset within the week. Like XIII said, we staked out and trained the bigger plants (Namely the two Honeybees and the Blue Baloney) into something resembling an even canopy. The three smaller plants, Ortega, Hi Fi, and Purp Butters are still getting light from the 1kw, but the three bigger ones are the main focus. We also hung a bare 400hps to catch the sides of the smaller plants that the 1kw can't reach.

I'm not sure if I should put these in peat pucks -> Organic soil or if I should go straight into coco.. Any suggestions? Got 24 hours to decide.

Day 20

Got some rust-spots showing up on our Honeybees mainly. Runoff pH was low, and we've been feeding with around 5.8 (with swing, ofcourse) so now we've switched to 6.1 to counter the Magnesium Salting that we're assuming is the cause.

Figured I'd take the Hi Fi out for some headshots. It's not quite so monstrous, so getting it out of the room is easy enough.
