Hello everybody... I have recently acquired a pack of standard Guawi seeds from the ACE website, great service, thank's a lot Dubi, germed two plants already, will start with some more seeds tonight. The plan is to grow them outdoors at 46N, i reckon that given the genetics they won't probably finish here before the first frost in November but i am gone grow them in pots so i can force flower them or maybe move them into a greenhouse when the time comes. At the moment they are sitting in a window sill, where they get around 12 hours of sunlight + 4 hours of CFL light in the evening, hope they won't start flowering when i'll take them out. Couldn't find much info about this strain, there's a little thread on a spanish website but that's about it... So, if anyone has any experience with it, please help.
I have also received 6 Angola x Thai freebies, 4 plants have come out of the dirt yesterday, also any info on these is very much apreciated

So i decided to flower indoor all of my sativa's from seed and plant clones only outdoors, the plants are in 12/12 for two weeks now and i ended up with two Guawi females :woohoo: and a male which will be saved for f2's and some other crosses. They are really stretchy i had to tied them down, but they keep going up. On the other hand, the AngolaXThai's are a bit more compact with long side branches, i have three females and a male, one is unconfirmed yet... Here's one of them:

Thanks for posting VanVulpen,

Yes, Guawi has a lankier structure (longer internodes) than Angola x Thai but flowering time is a little bit shorter. Hope you enjoy them!

Thank's a lot for your support, guys! is very much appreciated... Here's AngolaXThai no.1 and the male:

She is lucky enough to root in a 15l pot, i haven't repoted the others yet cause i really miss some extra space in the flower room. The male seems very slow to show anything but preflowers while the females are developing pistils everywhere. Dubi, what kind of a high we should expect from such plants? Do you reckon that they can add some potency when crossed with other landraces? I am considering a cross with a true nepalese from RSC named Pahari Farmhouse, i have like six females, quite different from each other, hope you don't mind if i show one here:

The Guawi have been tied down to the extreme, what you see now might be shoking :yoinks: but i'm in a real lack of space and i need the clones...

They look very nice Van Vulpen !! IMHO Nepalese x Angola/THai should be a superb Sativa hybrid.

Time for an update on my plants, these are the two phenos of AngoleseXMeao Thai that i have come across, they are my favourite girls in the whole bunch really... No1 is the tallest one and she's quite branchy as well, is probably too early to apreciate this but she seems to be a productive pheno. No.2, 3 and 4 are shorter, they have been severly rootbounded in the first weeks of flowering, don't have so many branches as the first one, much leafier too but they are already producing some resin :woohoo:
My camera is not the best one ever and i am bad photographer but i hope you'll get the general ideea, no.1 and no.2:

pics with the Guawi's soon...:rasta:

Beautiful sativas VanVulpen,

Angola Thai effect is strong, stimulating and psychedelic, excellent pure sativa genetics. Sure, you can find excellent things crossing a nice angola x thai to a different, uniform landrace. Both, the 3 way sativa way or F1 sativa x indica IBL route would be interesting.

the flavours are a mix of the sweet acid thai with some earthiness, some more on the thai spectrum others more earthy, with some very nice smelling individuals (especially one male) watch for updates!
