Google Street 360 Mapping Fun

So i wake up, switch the television on and hear about this new technology named Google Street view. So what do I do? I do what any right minded stoner would and take a virtual tour of Amsterdam.

I am amazed and cannot comprehend how such technology is created, I'll have to do some further research later. There has been a lot of arguments regarding the use of such advanced maps and how criminals may use them to plot attacks and so on. Google has a feature put into place which blurs faces, car reg's and anything identifiable for security reasons, but you can actually see people walking the streets oblivious.

I recommend you check it out, post what you find.

Yea man I print-screened, I love it when I visit a site looking for a picture and it has right click disabled. I feel like saying "fucked you over" every time i hit the button.

I'm loving the 360 degree view, only problems i can see with the feature so far is that some captures don't piece together correctly, displaying a cropped effect with pieces of images missing.

used it alot when house shopping...found out pretty fast that any house i wanted there wasnt street view available tho. ...they dont have street view in the woods yet i guess

Yea it sucks that not everywhere is available for street view, it would be good if I could scour woods for MJ plants via Google. Then again i wouldn't want everybody to be able to do that lol.

Yeah i heard about this because of all the lawsuits...use it now, because i bet it wont be there for long! google's loosing money from this one. I think it's nifty, personally

hey Original I still can't figure out the printscreen of just the window....I hit printscreen and of course saves the entire screen, when I do alt printscreen I get the webpage with the pic, not just the pic itself. Other than using GIMP to erase everything but the picture in my saved .png's, any ideas? Anyone?
