Just harvested some SSH x Devil. I used 2 devil daddies on my fave, hazy, 12 week ssh. Doing a batch of LaNina F2's now, and doing the seeds that I should have done 3-4 mo ago. I'm mixing up the Devil's (and a few F2's) and some Shit f2's for a nice batch of bulk outdoor seeds. Hopefully they will be done by ~May.

Growing out my first few G/Sk and SSH f2's. Also running some MeT x MissMudd. Got some of my own bagseed (G/Sk daddy, and SSH's, G/Sk's, Pakalolo possible mommas) and some random breederseed from a stash pack. Gonna be a fun spring!

The first will be Anesthesia (Old School Positronic AfganSkunk x Herijuana) x True Blueberry
Super Silver Haze (60 days phen) x Master Kush
of these hybrids make a selection and choose the best mom and dad. Then I pollen mother Pre98 Bubba Kushi x Molokai Frost and Cali.O Ae77 x Deep Chunk.
This hope arises Field Marshall.
More hybrids will SFV OG Kushi x C99 (pineaplle phen) with ChemDogD x C99 (pineaplle phen). This hybrid will be selected, too, and then add mom pollen Chunk Cheese.

my best cross hands down is this c99 x vietmanese..viet came from a few bags i bought back in 87'..it was black with gold hairs..we called it honey bud..been growing a few plants outside the last oh 17yrs..i don't know what that makes them, i am no expert, i just make a few seeds every year for the next year..i did post some pics once on og, that's where i learned how to grow hydro and found out about all these new strains..

This seasons agenda includes dusting a group of Shiskaberry cuts with F-4 BCGA pollen.

Combining the quick ripening and Tropical Fruit / Citrus flavors of Vic's C99/clone-cross, with Steve's larger, heavier stoned, Berry variant, could have unusual consequences.

There's still work to be done with old-school genetics.

It takes time and dedication.

Grueling hours of testing.

Until we get it right.

I was planning on saving these seeds for a while, and not really messing with them.
The Larry OGK had to be cut prematurely, so none of the seeds were viable really. So i tried germing like 50 of them, 2 of which germed and only 1 of those 2 survived as a sprout. So i basically only have the one seedling from all my seeds of the larry ogk x

I wasnt planning on popping anymore of the seeds, but some sprouted without me having anything to do with it
I had 6 sprout outside of the green crack x dabney blue, and 2 of the afgooey x dabney blue.
Seeds mustve fell off the plants, then after some heavy rains i had some naturally sprouted seedlings.
1 of the afgooey x were male so i killed it, and the other is outside flowering as a tester.

The first 3 of the green crack x dabney blues i brought inside to veg. The other 3 left outside to see how they turn out. of the 3 left outside, 1 was male. Of the other 2, one is a full green crack pheno, and the other is a dabney blue pheno. Both smell amazing.
Of the 3 crackberrys i brought inside, i gave 1 to a friend. and the other ended up being a male.

So right now in veg i have 1 Crackberry thats a female, and 1 Larry OGK x Dabney Blue that just showed sex as a female.

I dont believe so. All i know is its a clone that comes outta the Emerald Triangle area of Cali. I guess a crew of people up there had/have been hoarding it for years, and would sell it to clubs in norcal for top dollar.
This was the preferred cut over urkle,gdp,grape ape yadda yadda
only downside is that its a ridiculously low yielder
Who knows what it really is, but i find it to be one of the tastiest purps, and is one of the few that actually has a enjoyable high/potentcy.
I find most 'purple' strains to have rather boring highs

This morning I am puffing a cross that I made of Astroboy x Doubledog that a friend grew. I gotta say that the smell definitely leans to the dog side of things as it's some pretty stinky herb. Pretty potent though and quite a bit spacier buzzzz than the doubledog which was pretty potent but more of a knock out high. I might have to crack some of those beans myself someday.

Lately I've been making more crosses than I can list, lol. My bean collection is starting to get old so I've been making new beans as I go along and when I do I not only make f2s but I hit up just about everything that I have in the garden at the time. I only make about 25-50 beans of each variety but there is usually 5 or 6 different crosses of each so I'm going to be busy trying crosses for awhile, lol. So far I've been pretty pleased with everything that I've grown out. Eventually I'm going to have to go back to growing from clones though so I'm going to have to somehow pick three or four strains and make moms. I know my yield will go way up when I switch back to clones but I am going to seriously miss the variety and the mystery that growing from seeds offer. Clones are great but there are no surprises, what you have is what you get but from seeds you never know what'll pop which can be a bad thing or a very very good thing.

I grew out a SSH pheno that was flowered at 5 nodes (maybe 7"?) and it grew with more vigor than I have seen in a long time. It reached a final height of over 5ft tall, and looked more like a landrace thai than a hybrid of any sort. The vigor was impressive, but even more so when considering that the plant was in a tube 3" x 8" of coco, which is 56.5 sq in of grow medium...or in other words, a .2 gal pot. This was being fed hydro from the bottom, but the root mass stayed within the pot constraints.

I got about 2 ounces of very haze tasting bud after about a 20 week flower.
I've been growing seeds for a long time, and have a good bit of patience...but I have no need for 20 wk plants. Although the buds from such beasts usually turn out top shelf connoisseur quality, as did this.

Anywho...I also had four other SSH's flowering that were a mixture of phenos from similar to the giant but smaller, and two that obviously took the other side of the line and finished in about 13-14 wks.
I flowered out some of GrowDoc's Angel Dust. These plants are quite unique in that the males will not only pre-flower very early, but they will produce viable pollen while in veg. Auto males only. The fems do not show until 12/12.
(or at least mine didn't)
I had 4 males and one of them spit viable pollen within 26 days of it emerging from seed.
I culled two, and kept the most vigorous looking male and the early pollinator.
I put the most vigorous male in flower and collected it's pollen too. This male also turned hermie...(male plant starting to grow full flower female pistols) which I had never witnessed myself before.

I have a cab w/flower and veg chambers, and a separate flower/veg box and I was very meticulous in the collection and painting of this pollen.

I painted the giant as well as three other SSH's (culled one of the SSH and can't remember why:???) with pollen from both AD's (seperated and marked).
I also inbred an AD fem with the early pollinator for some AD-1IX
(I used AD because it was the only IBL I had when I had the SSH's, and it's damn good pot!)
I popped two of the inbred AD's just recently...

I have too much on my plate to mess with the SSHxAD's right now, but I will be doing some testing of these crosses this summer late.
My hopes are that the auto male trait carries on in the cross, which sure makes things nice when sexing. I am also very curious as to how the SSH's w/the hermie male pollen turn out...very curious to see if the hermie carries on to both sexes, and if the high fem rate of these types of seeds holds merit.

The male strain used in alot of these is a kiwi smelling mother crossed to our early OD sour bubble.

Have to give esbe props for the alpine rocket + other early OD strains used to make several of these and other crosses.
Also cant forget southwind. My friend ran only one seed of your sour bubble remake, the thing is female and is nearly identical to the sb mom we lost years ago! Will be fully starting more seeds to find a male!

Just dusted my pinapply/piney/skunky Shit f2 with a frosty Shit f2 male for the first round. These are the end of that incross, so I'm makin a few hundred f3's.

Waitin on 2 more LaNina males to start droppin for some 4:4 f2's. Also waitin on a Devil male to f2 a few females.
