First tracks, your runs look like they went perfect. Your first run is picture perfect. You CANNOT let the ISO evaporate for too long, you can only get the dish TOO HOT.

The only problem I have left to fix with this method is finding something to cover the dish/jar with while the ISO is evaporating to keep out dust and what not and still let the ISO evaporate out freely. Doesn't seem like an easy task tho.

All that stuff in your coffee filter is trichome stalks, dust, particulate matter.

Core, no offence man, but that dark stuff u posted there is pretty impure my friend.

just only a bit!...I should of strained it one more time yes,i admit, but it is't the best of trims i used ....but there is about 10 grams of oil inthere....this is from a 30 second wash......and not even a second run i did with this second grade trim i used and it looks like that coz afterwards i poor water on it ,shake the bowl around more then a couple of times and let it vape again...it makes it smoother ime...thats why its sticky all on the side of the pyrex....but thats no crap hanging there or plantmatter

there is this screen that i use when i fry foods to keep the oil from spattering back up out of the pan. its made out of a metal screen and it normally is the width of a frying pan, i dont know the name specifically, but your best bet is to go to some place like walmart or target and in the home goods section, ask someone for -i dont know- a spatter guard?

it seems to be a pretty common tool, but i never heard/seen of it until i met my wife who had one. comes in damend handy when frying stuff though, i'll tell ya that!

Thanks Blunt! I do have a splatter guard, but the holes on it are not small enough to keep dust from settling in the pie pan. It sucks.

Capn:Thanks for stoppin by again. Its a nice lil spoon, though the right-side carb through me off for the first few days of using it. Looks better dirty inside as opposed to clear and clean, just because the colors come out more.

thanks for lettin me know that. explains why none of it got me really high like I was expecting :joint:

Just did the second run last night. Photos of the scrape coming up soon.
