we bought a pack of wally's c99/panama red... i think we started 4 seeds, 2 fem's both pretty similar.. ok smoke... certainly not the holy grail we are looking for. we kept mums of both, grew it out twice, and have not grown it in the last 3 grows. potencywise, we'd rate it at a 7..

Hi everyone, I have a couple questions, I've read that C99 is low odor during flowering, is that true? And what about veg? Would a propagation cab (2-3 mother plants + cuts vegging for no more than 2 weeks after rooting) require odor control? Flowering would take place outdoors, where smell would not be an issue. Just want to be sure of some details before I get it going.

c99 is very inbred so it has little variation and all c99 will be very similar. I believe

I have some c99xgrapefruit mixed in with my gn c99 . from 13 seedings 2 did not make it. what i do not keep of the gn collection i will work in the rest of the c99/grapefruit plants.
but wallyducks cross looks to be the most vigorous.

here is a few random shot of wallyducks c99, i hold this as a mother for 2 years!!! and i havent got anyting better then that, i do not have a good hole plant pics, the full pics of the c99 is last grow i used her she freak totaly out with the leafe, and that was the frist time doing that over the 2 years i used her....
this plant is the best i used my c99 inside an outside here in denmark 56n latiude and its finish frist in oktober and got about 400g of pure pineapple buds havast around day 50-60!!! and its was very good mold resistens so the only i can give her is 10 out of 10 in my book!!!!

I can explain how it affects me if u like, im sure ive smoked enough of it to be able to do that.
Ill go back to a time when i was short of a smoke, and some nice friend happened to drop in a nice nugget of very pineappley smelling herb.
I was in the middle of doing somethings when the article arrived, i had 2 successive bongs and have to admit spent the next 10 minutes staring into space, blissfully smiling and savouring the pineapple taste that surrounded all my taste buds , even my lips tasted of it when i licked them.
After the 10 minutes had passed, seeming like only a quick daydream, i went back to work, feeling quite focused on the job at hand and a pleasent work enhancing buzz aided the rest of my days toiling.
For me there was no paranoia or anxiety whatsoever, i would suspect one would have to be quite sensitive to such conditions to suffer them with this strain.
I have always found cannabis to enhance the mood one was in, so if your feeling a bit paranoid i would suggest most cannabis could enhance that and you may not have a pleasant time, one might choose the right times for such things thereby avoiding unpleasant feelings.

Everything I've ever heard and read (and there's a good amount of info out there) about Wally's 99 is very positive. In fact, I don't think I've ever heard that anybody was unhappy in any way with their Wally 99.
I will say this, however, virtually all of the 99 that I'm seeing out there is much, much more uniformly indica looking than in my experience of growing out the BG F1's. It would stand to reason that after 6 generations, selection has tended towards quicker (in seed development as well) and denser plants.
Now, before I get massively flamed here, I'm not saying that these recent generations are any worse...In fact, they may be much better. I'm just pointing out that they seem clearly more indica with their uniformly thicker leaves, etc. and just different to me. The buds, on the other hand, do look very similar. I wish I had taken better pictures of late flower, but I didn't...So I don't blame you if you disregard this. it's just my observation. I'm not selling seeds and I don't have a vested interest here.

I know that description is from what Wally listed in the description for the beans when available but just don't get it. For one the pineapple and grapefruit are two distinct phenos and yes there is a tropical punch pheno but he also listed in that description another pheno like the original Grimm release or something like that. These are F6's and all that variation within one pack...LOL. Just does not make sense. I mean C99 was very stable right out of the gate. Yes there was some variation but any inbreeding and if anything more stable.

I agree, Wally has great shit. I'm growing C99xBlueberry. I had good germ rates, poor M/F ratio, but my lone female is turning out AMAZING. Grows very very well, beautiful shape/structure and the buds look amazing, very C99 like. I can't wait to smoke her.
Going to be very decent yield for the tight space she is in. Her side branches grow as tall as the main top and the buds almost as fat. I wish I could get a top down. I topped this plant once, and it has about 8 side branches that all have (toddler)fist sized nugs on them... at 4 weeks!

I would agree. Stockier squat and leafier nowdays. older cindy had much higher calyx to leaf ratio, just a few tiny leaves stickin out of the meristem/main contigious cola with side branching not nearly as productive
I also never ever had a cindy that could stand without support, sides or main. guaranteed to fall over
there was a bit more internode on her as well just satty overall compared
