more details please

i'd hate to give out the master chef's recipe....but fuck it, here we go :D

to go about the method i obtained some materials. 2 quart glass jars( i used old, kiefy jars and this is a great way to clean out the resin stuck in them), a wire mesh strainer(a small one that can sit on-top of a jar), a pyrex dish/pan, and a coffee filter. later we will need 2 chop sticks(or pieces of wood) and boiling pot of water to complete the process(unless you have an electric heater)

the main trick to it is how long you expose your plant matter to the iso before it leeches green chlorophyll. what i do is fill my jar with my plant matter to be extracted and add enough iso to it to cover the material. immediate shake, let settle, shake, repeat for ONLY 30-60seconds max. after this is done, have your strainer ready on your next jar and quickly strain out all plant matter so you have nothing but iso in the jar(there will be some orange hairs or other plant particles in there right now but we will fix that).

next step, clean out the jar you used to mix with and dry it out. lock in a coffee filter under the lid and pour your resulting product through that was previously strained. it will take awhile for the iso to filter through so be patient. near the end of the filtering, its fine to poke a hole or so with a pin in it to speed it up and/or allow some resin heads that may of been too big to make it through.

now get that pot of water on the stove and boiling. once at boiling temp and your iso extract is in your pyrex medium, its time to evaporate the iso. throw two chop sticks or peices of wood under the pyrex pan before placing it on top of the boiling water. depending on how big a batch was made, it should take 20-40mins to fully evaporate(and don't forget to open up a window, its gets stinky).

when evaporation is complete, i take the pan off the boilng water, while the pan is still fairly warm and scarpe all my hash into the middle. i then lower the temp on my boiling water to a simmer and place the pyrex back on. from here i get a needle/pin and beging stirring and spreading out the hash as it warms up. over time it'll change consistency and turn a yummy golden color. when this is achieved, its now time to celebrate with a toke to the moon!

thanks for the kind words everyone, i hope some of you can benefit from this walkthru. i hate reading about green, alch smelling/extremely harsh iso.

peace brothers and sisters!

sounds like you had fun.
how was the taste of the iso compared
to the bubble we made using my bags?
