Hi I have powder mold.

I Don't need to know what products you use to cure this UNLESS YOU ARE IN HOLLAND! (I've spent the morning reading that hydrogen peroxide, eem oil, penetrator and zone and a bunch of other products will treat it but...)

What I DO need to know is... what is the product callled in DUTCH?

thanks for any advice *from Dutch people

(I dont mean to be rude to the citizens of the world, but its not of any use to me to know what products you can buy in your country. trust me, I can't buy them here. example - what I really want is a product by "Dutch Masters" - only, its American and not Dutch or even close and I cant find it here in Holland - which is really the only relelvant bit)

or rinse the leaves with einstein oil (neem oil)...and you can also add a part of H2O2 at 3% to that mixture...but you should't have PM ...not if the inviroment is optimal.....whats the specs of ya grospace?? maybe you can do something better??
ohw yea got the mss that why i'm here

thanks for the replies all...
I'm no the case

I bet my room is far from optiomal mate, it's my first grow and I'm still making all the rrors to match

THIS error I think was caused by two things.. initially I had low humidity (40%) and I was misting when I probably didnt need to. Now Humitidy is now more like 60-70%. (temps 25-26c)

The second thing is, I'm scrogging and didnt realise how important it was to prune under the screen... its a perfect environment for spores now I think about it...

So, this is what I've done.

1. Pruned under the scrog (I'm about one third of the way through total clearance - it will take a week to complete at its brutal and I dont want to shock them)
2. Installed 2nd fan just blowing under the screen.
3. going to order some product and "treat" the PM
4. gonna chuck my mister in the bin.

p.s - I was misting 2 weeks ago - since the plants are bigger, I havent needed to because the RH has risen by itself.

you dont need a mister .... , i never ever used or owned such things :D

just get some Bio Nova - Vital ... , but be sure to know that Vital does NOT kill powdery mildew , its stopping the growth of the mildew instantly and changes the ph of the leaf surface ... can be used until the second week of bloom ...

Well I wouldn't toss it in the bin.....but I'd stop using in on your plants unless you have a particular problem that misting is indicated for. Then you'll be ready!!

Do you know what baking soda is? I don't know the name in Dutch but its an extremely common kitchen item......maybe your wife knows the dutch name for it but mixed with water it kills off powdery mildew as well as some other products; also by affecting the ph of leaf surface to one the mildew doesn't like. I can't remember the exact ph I aimed for when using it but I can find out if you are interested.

good luck.

allee dan....dan zijt ge goe bezig he.....alleen niet meer misten en zorgen dat de RH naar beneden gaat.....tussen de 30-50% is optimum....

ok so, I've finished clearing under the scrogglett... theres a few clones to be taken - but I dont have anywhere to put them til around Wednesday so I'll get them then... besides that... its just branches down there now..

I also got some "Exact" from Beyer, which I'll start administering tonight (once I get the dose figured out )

still struggling a bit with high RH (70% max) - but yesterday was a watering day so its always a bit higher...

fingers crossed we're on the right track

thanks again everyone

Hi Jamie, you don't mention but I am curious to know how cold the room dips down in the root zone at any one time?

PM is caused by high humidity and cold temps. Correct those and no PM. Maybe a heat mat at night (maybe on a thermostat) would help. Also, can you increase exhaust ventilation?

it gets too cold... the "day time" is 25-26 but the "night time" dips to 18c (at canopy level)
