I've been trying to find information on how clones would be counted.Like if unrooted cuts in a dome would be counted as a plant. Its one of the few times google has let me down.Any ideas on how or where you can get straight info about the subject?

My GUESS would be: no roots, no plants. BUT, a 1 inch plant is assigned the same "weight" as a 20 foot plant at harvest.

anything then can count as a plant is a plant in their eyes, beyond that say you got caught right after a harvest and had a bunch of buds cut off one plant to trim and hang, they`d try and class each bud as a plant.

My cousin was caught with this same problem. Every clone cutting was counted as a separate plant. His attorney is fighting this stating that most of the cuttings had no roots yet and therefore should not be counted. Trial starts in 2 months.

Unfortunately I don't believe Florida is a state I would even consider growing in,the risk is just too high, they're laws are so completely draconian, but I guess that what you can expect with the high percentage of senior citizen voters there. I remember my parents were sooo against pot, but funny thing the first time I ever got high I ganked the stuff from my dads dresser drawer. You guys ever watch that DEA show? or real vice cops and notice how much filming is done in Florida? I watched one episode where they found 5 plants in the back yard, about 4 inches tall and no shit, they charged him with 5lbs possesion.

25 plants = 2nd degree felony= up to 15 years.

what if you only have one plant? 2ft tall and you say its for personal medical use .... and you can prove your not all up there.... what then ..=P

Dude, it's Florida. They don't play. Any drug charge and you lose your DL for two years. If your busted growing it is a felony... Slap on the wrist or not,a felony conviction makes life a lot harder.

There is no one in this world who gets more pleasure out of growing their own herbs, and even I wouldn't grow if I lived in florida.

If you're all about the sunny beaches, either pack your shit and take the monetary cost of living hit to socal, or buy small quantities of whatever you can on the streets.

IMO, growing in florida is simply not an option for the rational. That's not hating, god fucking bless your ballsy ass if you do. But I think it's insane.

Basically, if you get caught growing any pot in florida, you WILL do hard time. Period. I wouldn't even bother looking to the specifics, as they will find a way to fuck you in the system. They HATE HATE HATE marijuana in Florida courts.

IMO, you have better odds of getting struck by lightning down there than you would pulling for jury nullification. That would only work in highly intelligent/liberal areas of the country such as New England and out west.... however even then I doubt it would work...

I'd bet 100 bucks that says 4 out of 5 average FL citizens have no farking clue what jury nullification even means.

dude...why? I don't get it man? I mean respect mon' and all that, but wtf? Like above said, zero to negative zero chance you'd get nulled in the south.

You can "handle" 5 years in state pen? Dude...

I like coming on websites like this. It reminds me of the diverse trains of thought people can have towards this stuff.

Growing here in Florida is a lonely, scary job for sure. I'm still trying to do the math to figure out how to run a steady perpetual and remain under 25. Everytime I take cuts I jump above the # as toasted1 mentions...then it's basically hide in the closet until I chop those that get me back below the magic number.

Sucks, sucks, and sucks some more! :wallbash:

Be careful people, OGH

and if any of you live within 1000 feet of: [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Any sale or delivery occurring within 1,000 feet of a school, college, public park, public housing, daycare center, or church is punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a fine of $10,000.

Then you might as well be growing over 25, I reckon.

:fsu:

Now I wonder if that is just for selling, or is it to include growers who are thought to be manufacturing for sale?
