That means today and not tomorrow. Go check the batteries. Push the fucking button.

What? You don't have a smoke detector in the grow room? Put it on your Wal-mart shopping list.

Pick it up with the beer. It's the gift you can just keep on giving.

WTF does St Patricks Day have to do with checking the smoke detector battery?

I check mine daily as it goes off everytime I cook...

But Happy St Patty to the Irish and wanna be Irish.

My roots are English and French Huegenot. But the Irish are cool...love the Celtic Music and their dancing.

Never need an excuse for safety! but I feel like the parish priest when questioned on the subject of God's wisdom concerning poking the alter boys...

You just gots to come up with something for a rejoinder...

I'm not Irish either. My ancestors were English overlords who subjugated the masses wherever and whenever possible.

Those darn English....I have been reading europeon history since my retirement and Henry the 8th is the most interesting of the Brit kings...but hard on his women.

But my people came to this country in the 1600's so I am pretty much AMERICAN....

The Native Americans were here....then we ran them off.
But other than that I am about American as you can get and a monument in Smith County Tenn to my ancestor who fought in the Revolutionary War put there by The Sons of the American Revolution..

Algore... Ewwwwwww....

One of my ancestors was part of the original Continental Congress and an intriguer who was angling to get in Abby Adams' pants while her husband was off in France trying to negotiate with the French to support our Revolutionary War against the British - which suited the French just fine in those days because they were in this ongoing war with the Brits for world dominance.

It's a great country to see. I've been to almost all of the states and to just about every major city in this country.

Yeah my history goes way back and we are going to go to the U.K. after my suggies retires to see where it all started. My family are geneology freaks and we have our history down well. It is what got me into more reading of history now which I enjoy. There are eight towns in England with my hubs sirname which is an unusual name anyway...
So unusual that I kept my own sirname..LOL

But we both have strong British roots and one of my relatives was A Knight of the Garter and was knighted by Henry the 8th a Sir Christopher Fowler. So there are good records on the gentry.

Some of my relatives naturally are politicians and basically I consider myself AMERICAN and my allegiance is to America and my relatives have fought in "all our wars" so far!
Texans once were raised to be strong patriots ...But I don't know how it is these days as I have been here in "Fantasy Land" for 24 years now.

But mpd...I tested my fire alarm by cremating my hubs bacon this morning and setting off the fire alarm AGAIN!!!!

I am not exaggerating that he likes his bacon cremated. And it always sets off my fire alarm...LOL.

This condo is rather small and I gotta stop cookin' and settin' off that damn fire alarm....
