This rd. back to the White, many Highend attributes came out, the worst being virile nanners. Only the smell/taste are really the White. She has a real acrid aroma. When I open a jar, my wife, who doesn't smoke, will be in another rm. and within 3m, will occasionally complain about "that awful 3 a.m. bar room floor smell". Yeasty, spilt- beer. Offensively addictive.
I have finished this rd off but have selected males for another bx to the White. Ongoing project. :wink:
Right now, my focus is on the F13's.

All I can say, 1000ARMSofKALI, is that I used 3 Highend males cause I had 'em @ the right time! I make no pretenses to being a breeder, can't run the #'s, but I can chuck pollen w/ the best of them!

My Highend girls threw nanners late in flower and seemed sterile. So I knew it was a possibility, but there was no sign of it in the initial cross, they were great! Very much like the White.
This round there was more variation in bud structure, they weren't as resinous (tho still ridiculously frosty!) and those damn nanners!

In many regards, I think it would be more fun to go back and search thru the F2's, but I'm compelled to work at "cubing" the White. as I'm half way there.

The F13's are @ 43 days in these two pics. Many more on the F13 threads @ DJ's forum.
They run 8-9 wks, so I'll be posting a lot more pics of them in the coming wks!
DJ's strains are well-known as being cocktails from his heirloom Thai, mexican, and afghan foundations, each one going for a certain mood enhancement.
The F13 is his most sativa-leaning expression, an up, alert day brightner.
The mom was a select Flo (#13) while the dad was a sativa leaning Blueberry, which sadly has died, and was the dad in Highend and Johnny Blaze, among others.
It sounded like the perfect herb to me, and after seeing it praised in the Cannabible, that was the last straw, and I bought a pack!

So now I'm in the DJ cult!

hey HL, i see you have similar way of selecting males to me, but im outdoor i dont keep clones, anyway its great you have those F2 to play, because thats what about it is, to play and enjoy cannabis right? i read your thread be sure white sounds to me like it has some unique flavours

HL, thanks man!!!! I actually just borrowed a book written by DJ short and he is a special breeder; he has a few quotes that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Hope everything works out well with the F13's and i'll def check out the dj short forum.

Bacchus, I think I'm all right, I still have joy in seeing the delicate, zigzagging branches of the Apollo!

Buddle, stretch was minimal, 3-4", but they were/are pretty rootbound, might have something to do w/ it.

1000ARMSofKALI, lol, too many projects! The Purple Peace is a real outdoor variety, and I'm staying inside for the time being.
I crossed the PP w/ some NepJam pollen last yr on a branch, only about 12 seeds to play with, but that will be for next yr.

JUNGLEOFEDEN, density w/ the F13 seems quite solid, but I'm refraining from squeezing them til their dry. :wink:

Gratephul, the book is small, but there is plenty to be gleaned from it.

Today I took down my Honey White seed mom from the last rd. She went 83 days and is packed w/ seeds. The resin is almost glazed over the bud, very dense.

The F13's hit the 57 day mark today, and I'll be letting them all go til at least 63 days. The #2 plant is the only one showing amber trichs. I'm in a bit of a quandry, as a few F13 growers have said to take them by 63 days for the clear, up high. That is what I want, but they don't seem like they'll be ready. I'll probably do a gradual harvest with all three.

Looking awesome my friend....Now, is that a seeded White with Honey White pollen? as a 2nd bx? Or is that a HoneyWhite pollinated with something else?

The F13 look delicious, I have lacked in the DJ department for years...I grew blueberry years ago and I think it was from DP...Everything I see of DJ's makes my mouth water.
