Lineage of Chronic? I've always wondered.

Dose anyone know the strain background of Chronic, specifically Serious Seeds Chronic?

I've got tons of good memories from growing up as a teen/young adult and smoking Chronic, and I'll like to maybe throw it in my grow room next but I like to know a bit more about the history of the plant before I try to grow it.

Any good info and or links would be appreciated.

Any opinions on Serious seeds Chronic anyone? I'll probably go that route.

sounds like it should be easy to grow, yield well, and decently potent from those genetics. mostly indica. I still love northern lights strains. Aurora is a good one too. I smoked some of that recently.

NL#5 x nevlles's haze is coming out soon if you can wait. I am definatley gonna try to get a hold of some of that.

i dont know who is correct on this but i know theres talk about some pre-2000 chronic also
maybe the genetics from the early version was different or maybe they just started selecting different from the same genetic lineup

maybe someone can share some lights on this?

I remember reading somewhere that it is NLxSk1 X NLxAK47. And that the ak47 was added to the cross in 2000.

people agree she is a massive yielder, some complain she is not too potent but Chronic is very time sensitive re cropping, take her early and it is rubbish, correctly and it is dank.

Thats sounds really nice. I've always steered clear of the $120 price tag of Neville's haze, but I love plain jane northern lights so the combo might kick ass.
