Took a while to get used to but i'm now having great fun. Force feeding 12 year old american highschoolers hand grenades at point blank range is hilarious, being knifed by the same raging 12 year old 5 mins later is hilarious. It's not often i get beaten up by angry 12 year olds so i'm all over it!
Do it. KZ2 controls were quite weird to start off with but am used to them now. You definitely need to be accurate with your aim. Is it wrong to say that I get a warm feeling in my grundies when clubbing someone over the back of their haed and seeing it mush.

I own a PS3 but do not buy console FPS games. I am old and barely able to keep up with PC mouse directed FPS games. 
I was tempted to try KZ2 anyhow, but I knew what would happen. I would play for a few weeks, have marginal improvement at best and then put the game away. I guess my inability to adapt to game controller FPS is my first indication of old age.
I should have gotten a clue when I started hitting the wrong buttons all the time when I play Madden but I am hard headed and tend to stay in denial about things. Be that as it may, I still enjoy a good console game and am really eager to play Fight Night 4...assuming the controls don't get too complicated.

Haven't finished it yet but the most innovative thing is being able to hide behind corners. A la gears of war except its in first person, big difference, every game should have that! Playing it on veteran first time out.

I am a KILLZONE nutter.
Have been since 2004.
I still have my PS2 KILLZONE demo.
The very 1st. game I played online was KILLZONE.
Within 3 weeks, I had been recruited by SDK {Skillz Dat Killz}.
I am still an Officer of SDK.
I finally got a PS3 3 weeks after the release of KILLZONE 2.
KILLZONE 2 was the 1st game in my PS3 & the 1st. game I played online with my PS3.
{LG 42" Plasma & Sony 1000 watt 5.1 helps too !! }
Now, I am spoiled....everything else looks { and plays !! } like s.h.i.t.e compared to KILLZONE 2.
Oh yeah, billyboy an his x-bots can suck my biggun'

seems like it is hard as hell to shoot someone, and if you do hit em damage is way to unrealistic. I've been playing Socom confrontation a lot...3000+ kills not even 1800 deaths yet I still like killzone for the graphics and to change things up. Haven't played in a bit so I might fire it up later today.. Modern Warfare 2 will be insane too, can't wait!
