I recently completed a 0.9 cubic foot grow box out of a PC case. I've got:
1x 80mm case fan intake
1x 120mm case fan exhaust
1x 80mm case fan exhaust
The box resides in my closet, which isn't exactly cool most times because:
a) I live in FL
b) It's expensive to run A/C all day and at low temps
c) The room is the last stop in the duct work
d) I have an actual (old, low power) PC in the same closet. It generates heat, but not a shiteload
With 1x 13 watt 6500k and 1x 15 watt 2700k, my temps hover around 87F and humidity around 43%
I think my humidity is OK but I know my temps are a little high, I'm looking for some ideas to lower them. I have a filter on the intake fan, thinking I'll probably take that off to increase CFM. Any other ideas short of cutting another hole and sticking a fan in it?
Any input appreciated guys.
