my bong(s) broke :(

ya well as of today i am without a bong to use. i was moving some of my shit into my new house last week and my buddy that was helping me move slipped with my 4 foot glass on glass in his hand. destroyed ... and then like 2 hours ago my other bong took a beating it cannot recover from "/ my water was starting to look and smell like musky yellow piss. i go in the bathroom to dump the water out in the toilet but the stem is stuck. for some reason i am unaware of, i tried to hit the lip on the stem on the corner of my bathroom table(wood, but still "/) and i just SHATTERED the whole bulbish part of my bong sending that foul-ass water all over my pants and floor

ive got this old PURE 18inch glass on glass but the downstem is broken on that too i just ordered a new ROOR DIFFUSER (!!!! =] ) from weedcity.com. how long do you think it'll take to get here?? where does weedcity.com even ship out from?

Other than the many items out there to clean a bong , Just take some alcohol to clean them ,throw the alcohol away ,( It would take a hole new thread do detail why )

NEVER hit your glass peice on anything (thats called bong abuse,,,LOL) All head shops sell replacement stems if you have one close.YOU'LL need to know there are diff. sizes.
If no HS in your area you'll have to wait on delivery. conntact them usally a co. will give an ideal on how long shipping takes.( Normally 4 to 8 weeks)

well first,,, you should ALWAYS buy a bag for your glass WHENEVER
you is getting new glass. i have a bag for each piece of glass i have,,
and that is 20-30 pieces,,,maybe more?? kind of ridiculous... but living
in CA,,, i never have to worry about losing a bunch of glass to a quake.



also,,,, remeber glass is glass and it is expandable AND retractable

so anytime you have glass on glass stuck, remeber that. heat and cold
can effect the size of your glass,, espically in the downstem,, glass on
glass section..

always clean it first. if that dont work. work with the hot and cold. just
dont make the change to quick otherwise you will crack cheap glass.

i have alot of nice glass,, but i always keep a "beater bong" in the living
room for my friends who cant handle themselfs fully in a session.

nothing worst than having to collect from good friends over a bad session.
at least if its a cheapy 60 or 70 piece,,, we can just call it a mishap and
no bad feelings. anyways brotha i FEEL for yeh. but when you have no glass
it makes it more intresting... apple pipe?? home made gravity bong? maybe
something more creative....?

ive had plenty of trouble with EDIT,,,, long wait times,,,
restocking issues,,,problems with missing items....
you can go on their forums and check the 1000s of threads
about customers fucked up orders. 5-10 of them threads pop
up there EVERY DAY. i know they get alot of buisness,,,but come
on,,,bad business practice is bad business practice plain++simple.
at least they are pretty good about trying to get back to you and
fix the order ((if they can)). anyyways. best luck.--BhT

yeah out of the five orders i have placed with EDIT over the
course of the last six or seven years, four of them have had problems. so
its not even something that is recent,,, this has been their ethic for
quite some time. and two of the orders were $400+ so its not even like
them only shrug the small buy customers. i dont know whats the
deal with them,,, but im not going to spend good money on a web order,,,
only to have to wait 2-3wks to recieve a wrong order and
have to go through another 4-7wks trying to remedy the problem..
i hear alot of great reviews from some of the EU///GB cats,,, so maybe they
just like to fuck with the american///canadians....anywayy. i dont like to
play cat&mouse with orders and payments,so i dont even bother with them no more

bitfreak glass (don't want to post exact addresses outa respect for Gypsy, but you can find it) sells US tubes. They seem to be of high quality.

showmeglass sells Ehle tubes (same as EDIT) which are very nice quality German bongs. The man who runs SMG is a good guy too.

what a great idea.. got unhappy customers? dont fix the problem,,,

just silence their ability to communicate their disatisfaction!!!!

man,,, and the times i had to wait up into the middle of the night to
try and to talk with a live person at EDIT...only to wind up with a error
message,,,or a phone that would continually dial and NEVER pick up. one
time i sat smoking bongloads for 45+minuts while the phone rang and rang
and rang ((during EDITs business hours)) if it was that much trouble to
get help with the forums,,, i cant imagine how difficult it can be now...

and SOO many people voicing thier dislike of EDIT. not just haters or trolls
either,,, REAL people,, just trying to get their stuff, really fucking sad. i
know a few people who still are waiting for refunds of $100+ orders...

i cant imagine anyone would still want to do business ,, much less
reccomend them to anyone. like sleek said:::: STAY CLEAR OF EDIT
