3rd Time's a Charm. 12/12 From Seed Under CFLs

Well everyone, after the disastrous end to my last grow when the fan died, I'm at it again. This time, I've planted about 11 seeds in soda bottles and will veg for about a week. Once over, I'll transplant a few when they show sex, but I'm going to try SoG with some of the soda bottles.

Growing in organic LCs mix. Veg under 5 CFLs of varying temps, switching to almost all 2700K next week after I switch to 12/12.

i was thinking about doing something somewhat similar

my idea was a lil diff tho i was thinking starting in 3 0z cups then transplanting to 16 oz soda bottles.

Hey man,

i am running (okay... will be running shortly) something similar, and your setup looks good.
The only real problem/improvement i see is this... You have no air intake/outtake.
Your Fan essentially just rotates the air while your bulbs act as a heating element. The same effect you got in a convection oven
I'd put some simple slits in the top/bottom, because that would help a lot. Hot air could escape out the top while pulling in cold air from the bottom. Sounds like a win/win, doesn't it?

Otherwise, good looking. I like the soil you're using! Keep us updated, i'll be keeping an eye on this!
