Funny thing is this one was the first to pop soil. 12 hour soak cracked most, then 6-8 hours in paper towels and I had tap roots. Placed them in soil and she popped first. This is also the tallest of all the seedlings and seems to be doing very well so far. I have seen different mutants but none like this.
At least you didn't get what I got. One of my Trainwreck X Colombian Gold seeds popped and then somehow everything on it but a single cotyledon died. So no grow tips or anything. Just stayed like that until I stopped watering it two weeks later. Inside each seed is a delicate little plantling. That tiny plant can become damaged easily. Most mutants you see are not genetic mutants, but mutated because of damage when still embryonic, or during germination.
Thought I would update ya on my mutant OG Kush bitch.
Here are some pics taken today..
Here are a couple from a normal one transplanted on the same date...
Here is one that was transplanted 5 days earlier as an experiment. Obviously it went well and will become standard practice...
All are exactly 4 weeks from their pre-soak, still vegging. Every one of them already smells funky without touching them. You smell them when you walk into the room. Mmmmmm.....
