I've been using neem oil to fight my PM problem. Weird, I live in a dry desert and got it during a rainy couple days. Never had a problem the first year+.
I think I'll try peroxide. It probably goes awy completely. Neem leaves a funky smell if you get it on the buds, funky taste too for the first couple hits on a pipe.
All these cures for PM just raise the pH on the leaves so the PM can't survive.
Molasses feeds the micro-organisms in your soil, which is good for nutrient uptake.
Noticed the thread title- Scared Shitless. This cause you don't want to screw up your first grow, or paranoia about growing in general?
I didn't see anything about your odor filter in your thread. No smell, nobody knows.

Edit: And Hello, Hazy!

Yeah, I have an air scrubber + inlined fan, or Blower if you wanna get proper.

I used Scared Shitless for a few reasons.

1) Correct. I did not and still do not want to fuck up my first attempt, while I am not a perfectionist, I am close, lol.

2) I don't want to get caught, and while I am still in Cali, I would rather not have to go through the legal system, at all. Save it for the people who really need it. Such as drug dealers(whites/reds/etc) murderers, rapists, etc.

3)While those two reasons I had in mind, when I first got here, I was scared my plant was going to die and over reacted; so it was to-in a way, to garner attention in some small hope someone would take pitty and help me, lol.
I apologize for that, but at least the title sticks and fits to the end... the only sad part is I would need to make an all new diary for my next grow, entitled something along the lines of "Lion Courage: Time to grow like a King!"

Or "2nd Grow: I got better since the last time!"
LOL!

Anyway, Im chewing the fat. Will be more than happy to exchange words with anyone.:joint:

LOL!
Everyone is scared the first grow, then some get too jaded and get rolled, a little fear usually keeps people safer than they would be if it was just a stroll in the park..

A cool photography trick is to take the plant out of the grow to take pics or use a flashlight or a different light to allow for flash use so the pics are nice and green and the true colors come out, otherwise you get yellow shots with the HPS blasting..

I would take better pictures, but I really don't like taking them out of their light cycle.

I got some great pics. This one is going around the net, it seems, but in any case:

I took this a couple weeks or so, back.
I never got to give it 1 on 1 time. I only trimmed and trimmed, for nothing basically, lol.

In any case, I more of a macro photography guy. The lens I want for above what other people are doing on weed websites, is about 2 grand. Telephoto lens. I can afford it, too.. but that would literally take from other areas of my life that need the budget. :(

Days are passing by faster than ever, I seem to be very much out of shape, taking care of the plants makes me feel better, though..

I had a feeling I would get these kind of results... !

Three is definately not a crowd

Looking great dude

I like the shots, but I do have some advice

1. I think you supercropped too late. That thing should be done (effectively ) while still in veg. But you did the right thing if the stretch caught you offguard

2. On the FFA I would chop off everything that attatches to the plant at the counter height. You wont get anything from those. Let the plant concentrate on growing the big uns

But other than that, grow is doin great and you already have some distinguished company here with ya, watching it, you are doin something right!!

Appreciated, man! I have pondered if I should do away with flimsy buds, such as the smallest ones on the bottom... your advice will be taken into close consideration, bro, that is for sure!

Her smell is hard to pinpoint... she smells of REAL fresh cut flowers, with a slight burst of OG throughout and some faint sweetness, all wrapped up in a soft pine scent... that is the best way I can describe it.

Also, she usually tells me which leaves I need to prune... I guess she REALLY DOES grow herself, eh?

Thanks again, man!

Edit: Oh! and man.. imagine if I did not Supercrop?? She'd be almost 6 feet tall...and imo, for an indoor plant that seems pretty fricken tall!

i would get rid of the smaller ones too.

I do all the time, really not worth teh effort, I hate trying to dry them, so I normally get rid of them before the start to waste plant juice

I just figured out we share another website in common..

Nice to see ya fightin the good fight

I agree with the Dog. Once you trim one time and see the huge colas you will every time. Also, haven't done any test but this should yield more weight this way as well. Trust me you don't want the thin wispy popcorn buds. Reallllyyy not worth it IMO

Whats good PG

Your macros look very good. What cam/lens did u shoot them with? I'm looking for a good macro to go with my Nikon.
Looking good. Stay Green

Quick update:

I pruned all of the "wispy buds" from the bottom and closest to the stalk(?)
Where the nodes meet?

Anyway, I took off dead leaves, small, inferior buds, on all 3 plants, sprayed all 3 with a fine coat of Organicide (main ingredient is fish-oil?)

I tied all 3 in various ways for maximum light penetration through the cannopy, without negating the growth of the tops, I was able to achieve light on almost ALL of my remaining buds, for all 3 plants.

I would even go as far as to say that NOW, 2 of 3 plants have more buds than leaves at this point!
Sour Diesel has some catching up to do!:whip:

Anyway, cleaned the room, watered and fed them using Chaching, TigerBloom, Peace of Mind fert, beastie bloomz and molasses.

I don't plan on using BB too much, because I want to keep it as organic as possible, same with Chaching.

If anyone has a suggestion pertaining to Beastie Bloomz and Cha-Ching, please feel free to add and school me on these wonderful products, with your own experiences.:bashhead:

I hope so! I wanna do Organic Coco next!

I am aiming for Flavor, Smell and last, but certainly not least... TRICHOOOOMES, ahem.. potency!

I have also grown to enjoy watching them grow, greeting them and playing music for'em. I also tend to rotate them every few days for even light penetration (or seemingly enough to me)

Thanks for stopping by!:friends:
