SunHut with SILVER lining, anyone still have problems?

Just checking. I had the white one and plants went straight to hell. They came back and now after putting them in the silver lined tent they are showing signs again.

Is your silver lined SUNHUT or HYDROHUT still off gassing?

I also had major problems with the white sun hut off gassing but the silver one has been great. No problems at all, but I did immediately chuck the white floor liner that came with the silver model. I didn't want to risk it after loosing a couple months dealing with the last white tent. I can't understand why they wouldn't make the new floor liner out of the silver material too...

No doubt, I know exactly what you mean. I pulled my hair out trying to figure out what was wrong with the white one after being promised that the sun huts don't have the same problems as the hydro huts. It was a mess to put it lightly.

all i gotta say is the new hydrohut silver editions are the shit. especially with a 1000 watter in the 3x3 hut.

How about the New Silver 4' x 8' Sun Hut? I think they are in the clear about the off-gassing.. My local hydro store says they sell a lot of them and havent recieved one back for off-gassing. I'm wondering about running (2) 1000's in one. Might get a little hot in there. But i hear that you can fit (2) 4' x 4' trays in one. So, they must be a little larger than 4' x 8'. Thats good, makes sense.

its either that or the Grow Lab 120L and a few 3' x 3' trays.

Ouch the 4' x 8' are $500 at the Hydro store.

so the question is; get the growlab for $150 less and use 3' x 3' trays

or spend the $150 extra for the Sun Hut and use 4' x 4' trays.

...i think i would prefer to use 4' x 4' under 1000s.

nata- after a few months of using the silver sun hut, I wouldn't recomend it. My 1k ballast took a shit right before I got the new silver one, during the white tent offgassing fiasco. So I had 4 aircooled 400s in there and it worked ok..

But after replacing my 1k in a cooltube, I could never get anything to flower. They would go in to the stretch just fine and look great, then just stall out.

I pulled my hair out for over a year and after spending mucho dinero on new meters, nutes, etc., I finally pulled my last few plants out of the tent to finish and did WAY better. I'm now convinved it was the tent. I mean I literaly went from flowering a 2 ft tall urkle and pulling 3-4 ozs before and after to 1/4-1/2 oz in the tent. I have no clue what the issue with them is, but I'm done messing around with them for now unless I throw some low wattage lights in there.

Good luck with your tent search! I do know there are some good ones out there.

OMG...maybe thats why I could never get a good harvest outa my last room...I had a huge hydrohut (4x8), and a smaller one(3x3). All the plants were initially healthy, then would just fail to thrive...low weights, I felt like I was doing something horribly wrong. Now I might know why...thx

this whole thing is so nutz! this product, made to grow plants in, essentially kills or slows growth to nothing. its so fucked it almost hilarious. except that ppl are losing their crops. i cantr believe that this is a real thing.

the guys at the hydro store are so quick to dismiss it... "oh, that off gassing problem was resolved a long time ago" but clearly not. With a lot of people still having it with the new modles. kinda reminds me of when they try to sell you a $400 digital ballast.... "RFI... not ours"

anyway. i might just build a 4' x 8' cab. $500 and no harvest... i dont think so..
