Sounds and looks delicious but sorry to say I do not know a single thing about this strain.
Have any clue about the genetics?

The seeds came from some bud that was labeled as "Dragon". Three seeds in a couple pounds of it. All produced different phenos...two were purple. This is the cut I name Purple Dragon just because of the bud it came from and the color. The other purple that came from these seeds was just as pretty, but not near the quality so I let her go. This was some of the best nug I've ever had. Definitely top three, if not the best.

So the cut would be known as just Dragon, if anyone's ever heard of that? I have no idea on the lineage myself. The other keeper pheno from this batch has a skunk smell to it. This cut doesn't, though.

I'm thinkin "Blue Dragon" very similar, for sure a DJ SHORT relative, Blue Dragon is a DJ SHORT relative.....

AKA Iceance, or somezing like that!

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful !!!!! I am gonna be searching for her until I die now, I just love her beauty.....

See...as much as I want to find out the lineage to this girl, it's pretty much a shot in the dark. Because the name of this strain isn't even pertinent, since I made that name up myself. To find anything out, it would have had to keep the same name since the breeder...which is rare coming all the way out to Texas. Then...the bud would have to be named the same as the cut and you'd have to find THE or someone who knows of the breeder where the Dragon came from.

Kinda adds up against us, huh? Shucks. Oh well let's keep looking. Any other questions that I may be able to answer, ask away.

She's definitely sativa dom.

And to thebandit...this girl has a special place in my heart, as she was one of my first few strains ever. So I do plan on sharing with a few people, but hopefully it'll stay in a fairly small circle. I do plan on gifting one cut to mjboy so he can use it for breeding and possibly get it in the clubs if it has enough medicinal value for the snobs on the west coast ha.

i am familiar with the purple dragon, however not for indoor gardening, only been around outside and greenhouse. not a "heady" strain. good smoke, hashy flavors, no fruit flavors at all. medium to large yielder outside with nice dense buds, 55-65 day flower or early mid october.

That's what I was thinking. The description is somewhat similar to the growth pattern of this girl...but no mention of a purple pheno. I thought about giving the breeder/seedbank a call and asking them but I haven't gotten around to it just yet.

And as far as any of us know...it could very well be an accidental pollination like ECSD was...with no guarantee as to the lineage of the plant. Could be why there were 3 phenos for 3 seeds and all were very different? I dunno...definitely keep up the dialogue, though.

And Mike...I don't think it's the same. If for no other reason...this thing almost smells like blueberries during flower and after the cure. And it's definitely a "heady" strain.
