ive never seen a glass heating rod or really heard anyone even talk about one til now. so you heat it up with a torch? seems pretty cool and clean. ill see if local head shops sell these things, never seen em but never looked so who knows., i wanna try it out

Hmm I don't feel thats right because the metal tip used to actually solder isn't used at all, only the ceramic heating rod.
would it be different if I shelled out the $150 for the phedor ( from http://www.wickedroots.com ) which works just same as my $30 hakko.
Not a soldering, what it is, is, hands down the best way to heat cannabis for consumption.

its about glass rods, and especially the artistic ones. I wasent singling you out, it just seems that every thread these days gets hijacked.

Don't day it doesn't happen. People who have oil domes have experiences cracking off the glass nail used to vape the oil heated up by a torch.

Keep commenting on things that you have never used before.. makes you look really smart. Pretty strange that this greevo has made it 8 years without cracking .. and the other ones I have as well as other friends of josh have never had one crack or explode. I think you may be thinking of the glass dick exploding from you smoking too much speed out of it during your all night long icmag trolling sessions.

is no cracking nor has anything exploded in my face. i am glad i am not
the only one that notices you hijack every thread with your stupid hakko
sales pitch. its really fucking annoying. almost everything you have said
about the glow rod is false. it doesn't crack (unless exposed to rapid temperature
changes which doesn't happen) and it doesn't take 4 minutes to heat up.

mine setup isn't nearly as nice. my glow rod was actually quite cheap but
the art on it is still pretty cool and it does the job its intended to do.
